Abstract

Herramienta rotativa alargada para maquinar materiales, herramienta rotativa que comprende: - un cuerpo alargado en un primer extremo; - una caña en un segundo extremo opuesto, compartiendo el cuerpo alargado y la caña un eje común; al menos una cara del cuerpo alargado en un extremo opuesto a la caña, en el que al menos dicha cara define una acanaladura correspondiente que se extiende a lo largo del cuerpo alargado hacia la caña; al menos un anco en un extremo del cuerpo alargado en un extremo opuesto a la caña; - un filo en una juntura de por lo menos una cara y de al menos un anco; y - un cermet que comprende al menos un componente duro y aproximadamente de 0,2 % en peso a 19 % en peso de ligante de Co-Ni-Fe comprendiendo aproximadamente de 40 % en peso a 90 % en peso de cobalto, consistiendo el resto de dicho ligante en níquel y hierro y, opcionalmente, las inevitables impurezas, con aproximadamente 4% en peso a 36% en peso de níquel, aproximadamente4% enpesoa36% enpesode hierro, y unarazón Ni-Fe de aproximadamente 1,5:1 a 1:1,5.
