Abstract

Procedimiento de resolución de mezclas enantioméricas de alcoholes catalizada por lipasas. La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para la resolución de mezclas enantioméricas de alcoholes orgánicos que comprende la esterificación selectiva de los mismos. Dichos alcoholes pueden ser secundarios o primarios quirales en alfa. La invención se refiere también a procedimientos para la resolución de mezclas enantioméricas de alcoholes, que se llevan a cabo haciendo reaccionar en el seno de un disolvente orgánico apolar la mezcla a resolver con un éster en presencia de un biocatalizador, y la posterior separación del éster enantioméricamente enriquecido de los productos de partida. Dicho biocatalizador es una lipasa, o mezcla de lipasas, en diversos grados de purificación, producida por un microorganismo seleccionado del siguiente grupo: Fusarium oxysporum, Penicillium. chrysogenum, Arthroderma ciferrii Ovadendron sulphureo-ochraceum, Pseudomonas cepacia, Streptomyces halstedii Streptomyces fradiae y Streptomyces sp. Dichos procedimientos son de interés en la Industria Farmacéutica, Industria de aditivos alimentarios e Industria de Química Fina.
