Abstract
Un método para medir la intensidad de una señal recibida, que incluye las operaciones de obtener una primera medida de intensidad de señal de la señal recibida de un receptor, y obtener una segunda medida de intensidad de señal de la señal recibida del receptor, en el que: el receptor (10) se ajusta a un primer nivel de ganancia para obtener la primera medida de intensidad de señal, y se ajusta a un segundo nivel de ganancia para obtener la segunda medida de intensidad de señal; caracterizado porque comprende adicionalmente las operaciones de: determinar una diferencia esperada entre la primera medida de intensidad de señal y la segunda medida de intensidad de señal en base al primer nivel de ganancia y al segundo nivel de ganancia; generar la diferencia real entre la primera medida de intensidad de señal y la segunda medida de intensidad de señal; comparar la diferencia real con la diferencia esperada para obtener un factor de compensaciónde intensidad de señal; y generar una medida de intensidad de señal compensada de la señal recibida en base al factor de compensación de intensidad de señal.
