1. Una composición que comprende goma gelán
sustancialmente libre de proteína arilsulfatasa.
2. Una composición que comprende goma gelán
sustancialmente libre de proteína
\beta-glucoronidasa.
3. Una composición que comprende goma gelán
sustancialmente libre de proteínas arilsulfatasa y
\beta-glucoronidasa.
4. La composición de cualquiera de las
reivindicaciones 1 a 3, que es un caldo de cultivo de
Sphingomonas elodea.

5. La composición de cualquiera de las
reivindicaciones 1 a 3, que es un caldo de cultivo precipitado de
Sphingomonas elodea.
6. La composición de cualquiera de las
reivindicaciones 1 a 3, que es un producto lácteo esterilizado.
7. Un polinucleótido aislado y purificado que
codifica una arilsulfatasa de Sphingomonas elodea que tiene
una secuencia de aminoácidos de acuerdo con SEQ ID NO: 2.
8. El polinucleótido aislado y purificado de
acuerdo con la reivindicación 7, que comprende una secuencia
nucleotídica de acuerdo con los nucleótidos 521 a 2176 de SEQ ID NO:
1.
9. Un polinucleótido aislado y purificado que
comprende ADN genómico de Sphingomonas elodea con una
deleción de toda o parte de su secuencia codificante de
arilsulfatasa.
10. El polinucleótido aislado y purificado de la
reivindicación 9, en donde el ADN genómico comprende todo o parte
del ADN genómico de Sphingomonas elodea que codifica
alquilsulfatasa.
11. Un polinucleótido aislado y purificado que
comprende ADN genómico de Sphingomonas elodea con una
deleción de toda o parte de su secuencia codificante de
\beta-glucoronidasa.
12. El polinucleótido aislado y purificado de la
reivindicación 11, donde la deleción es de los nucleótidos 1588 a
3447 de SEQ ID NO: 4.
13. El polinucleótido aislado y purificado de la
reivindicación 11, en donde el ADN genómico comprende todo o parte
del ADN genómico de Sphingomonas elodea que codifica la
proteína hipotética conservada corriente arriba de la
\beta-glucuronidasa.
14. El polinucleótido aislado y purificado de la
reivindicación 11, en donde el ADN genómico comprende todo o parte
del ADN genómico de Sphingomonas elodea que codifica malato
deshidrogenasa.
