Abstract
Motor (1) de combustión interna, que comprende: una cámara (10) de combustión que tiene un orificio (9a) de escape; una válvula (9) de escape para abrir o cerrar el orificio (9a) de escape; un dispositivo (5) de escape que tiene un trayecto (16) de escape para guiar los gases de escapedescargados desde la cámara (10) de combustión a través del orificio (9a) de escape; y un dispositivo (40) de depuración de escape previsto en el trayecto (16) de escape y que tiene un catalizador(41, 42); en el que: el dispositivo (5) de escape comprende: una sección (32) convergente que tiene un área de sección transversal de trayecto de flujo menoren un extremo aguas abajo de la misma que en un extremo aguas arriba de la misma; una sección (33) divergente prevista aguas abajo con respecto a la sección (32) convergente yque tiene un área de sección transversal de trayecto de flujo mayor en un extremo aguas abajode la misma que en un extremo aguas arriba de la misma; y una sección (21) de ramificación para ramificar una onda de choque, que se propaga en unadirección aguas abajo en el trayecto (16) de escape a mayor velocidad que los gases de escapeque fluyen al interior del trayecto (16) de escape desde la cámara (10) de combustión cuando elorificio (9a) de escape está abierto, desde una parte del trayecto (16) de escape que está aguasarriba con respecto a la sección (33) divergente, y que propaga la onda de choque de vuelta altrayecto (16) de escape; los gases de escape que fluyen al interior del trayecto (16) de escape desde la cámara (10) decombustión se hacen pasar por la sección (32) convergente y se hacen colisionar contra la onda dechoque que se ha propagado en la sección (21) de ramificación, entre la sección (21) de ramificación yla sección (33) divergente, aumentando así la presión de los gases de escape en la sección (32)convergente; los gases de escape se hacen pasar por la sección (33) divergente para generar una nueva onda dechoque y disminuyendo así la temperatura de los gases de escape; y el catalizador (41, 42) del dispositivo (40) de depuración de escape está previsto en una parte deltrayecto (16) de escape que está aguas abajo con respecto a la sección (33) divergente.
