Abstract

Un compuesto antioxidante químicamente estable que comprende: una fracción catiónica lipófila unida por una fracción de conexión a una fracción antioxidante; y un complemento aniónico para dicha fracción catiónica, en el que la fracción catiónica es capaz de dirigir la fracción antioxidante a las mitocondrias, en el que el compuesto antioxidante es un compuesto de fórmula I:**Fórmula** o su forma de quinol, en la que R1, R2 y R3, son iguales o diferentes y se eligen de entre fracciones alquilo C1 hasta C5 e H, y en la que n es un número entero entre 2 y 20, y en la que Z es un anión que no muestra reactividad frente a la fracción antioxidante, la fracción catiónica o la fracción de conexión y se elige de entre un sulfonato de alquilo, un sulfonato de arilo, trifluorometansulfonato, tetrafenilborato, tetrafluoroborato, hexafluoroantimoniato, hexafluoroarseniato y hexafluorofosfato.
