Abstract

Un miembro de soporte no tejido continuo para uso en un proceso de "spunlace" o hidroentramado, el miembro de soporte comprende: Una pluralidad de vacíos pasantes, dichos vacíos pasantes comprenden cada uno: Una primera abertura asociada con una superficie superior del dicho miembro de soporte; Una segunda abertura asociada con una superficie inferior del dicho miembro de soporte, en donde la dicha superficie superior es una superficie lateral de contacto con la lámina y dicha superficie inferior es un lado de la máquina de dicho miembro de soporte; y Al menos un borde elevado circunferencialmente adyacente a al menos una de dichas primeras y segundas aberturas, en donde dichos bordes elevados forman una orilla elevada continua alrededor de dicha abertura.

Regresando ahora la estructura de los miembros de soporte, tal como la correa o manguito descritos anteriormente, los miembros de soporte pueden tener una topografía de vacíos pasantes. Los vacíos pasantes pueden incluir, entre otras cosas, características geométricas que suministran topografía y volumen de lámina mejorada a los productos o laminas/redes no tejidas cuando se producen, por ejemplo, sobre el miembro 80, 191 de soporte. Otra ventaja de los presentes miembros de soporte es la más fácil liberación de la red desde el miembro de soporte.
Además, los miembros de soporte construidos de acuerdo con la presente invención darán como resultado unas “impresiones” más profundas que resultan en un producto no tejido con mayor absorbancia de volumen y menor densidad. Se apreciará que el término “vacío pasante” es sinónimo del término “hueco pasante” y representa cualquier abertura que pase completamente a través del miembro de soporte tal como una correa o manguito. Un mimbro de soporte como se denomina aquí, incluye, pero no está limitado a, telas industriales tales como correas o transportadores, y maguitos o correas cilíndricas específicamente utilizados en la producción de no tejido.
Aun otra ventaja es que la construcción de la correa/ manguito de soporte evita los constreñimientos y requiere de un telar de tejido convencional ya que los vacíos, ranuras u otros patrones pasantes se pueden colocar en cualquier ubicación o patrón deseado y así se puede mejorar la estética de la apariencia de la lámina/ red. La superficie de la correa/manguito de soporte se puede procesar con el fin de crear un patrón al cortar o grabar un patrón por ejemplo una estructura de panal, y/o se puede tratar con un recubrimiento químico para una aplicación específica tal como la disipación de la estática, la liberación de contaminación/suciedad, mejorar la durabilidad etc. El uso del miembro de soporte de la invención permite una mejor reflexión de la energía cuando se compara con la correa no tejida estándar de la técnica anterior. Esta mejora el entramado de las fibras en el producto no tejido y evita la penetración de la fibra hacia las aberturas/ huecos / vacíos de la correa de soporte, lo cual puede conducir a la perdida de fibra o a la dificultad de la liberación de no tejido de manera limpia y uniformemente desde la correa/ manguito de soporte, como se puede observar en los miembros de correa o soporte tejidos. El resultado es: mejor entramado de la fibra y menor estopado de la fibra, dando como resultado una mejor liberación o transferencia del producto desde el miembro de soporte a otra posición o miembro de soporte.
Un método para producir el miembro de soporte, tal como una correa o manguito, de acuerdo con una realización de la presente invención se muestra, por ejemplo, en las FIGS. 4A y 4B. Las FIGS 3A y 3B ilustran una vista de planta de una pluralidad de vacíos 102 pasantes que son producidos en una porción de un miembro 104 de soporte continuo de acuerdo con el método ilustrado, por ejemplo, en las FIGS. 4A y 4B. Los vacíos pasantes pueden servir como huecos de drenaje en algunas aplicaciones para permitir el paso de fluido, agua y/o aire. La FIG 3A muestra la pluralidad de vacíos 102 pasantes desde la perspectiva de una superficie 106 lateral de contacto superior o de lámina del miembro 104 de soporte. Cada vacío 102 pasante puede tener una forma cónica, donde la superficie 108 interior de cada vacío 102 pasante se estrecha hacia adentro desde la abertura 110 sobre la superficie 106 superior a través de la abertura 112 (FIG. 3B) sobre la superficie inferior o lateral de la maquina (FIG. 3B) del miembro 104 de soporte. El diámetro a lo largo de la dirección del eje de coordenadas x para la abertura 110 se describe como ∆x1 mientras que el diámetro a lo largo de la dirección del eje de las y, para la abertura 110 se describe como ∆y1. Con referencia a la FIG 3B, de manera similar, el diámetro a lo largo de la dirección del eje de las x para la abertura 112 se describe como ∆x2 mientras que el diámetro a lo largo de la dirección del eje de las y para la abertura 112 se describe como ∆y2. Como es evidente de las FIGS. 3A y 3B, el diámetro ∆x1 a lo largo de la dirección de las x para la abertura 110 sobre el lado 106 superior del miembro 104 de soporte es mayor que el diámetro ∆x2 a lo largo de la dirección de las x para la abertura 112 sobre el lado 114 inferior del miembro 104 de soporte. También, el diámetro ∆y1 a lo largo del eje de las y para la abertura 110 sobre el lado 106 superior del miembro 104 de soporte es mayor que el diámetro ∆y2 a lo largo de la dirección de las y para la abertura 112 sobre el lado 114 inferior del miembro 104 de soporte. De manera alternativa, también se puede utilizar la geometría opuesta. Por ejemplo, el diámetro de las aberturas sobre la superficie lateral de contacto de la lámina puede ser mayor que el diámetro sobre las aberturas de la superficie lateral de la máquina.
La FIG. 4A ilustra una vista en sección transversal de uno de los vacíos 102 pasantes descrito en las FIGS. 3A y 3B. Como se describió previamente, cada vacío 102 pasante puede tener una forma cónica, donde la superficie 108 interior de cada vacío 102 pasante se estrecha hacia adentro desde la abertura 110 de superficie 106 superior a través de la abertura 112 sobre las superficie 114 inferior del mimbro 104 de soporte. La forma cónica de cada vacío 102 pasante puede ser creada como resultado de la radiación 202 óptica incidente generado desde una fuente óptica tal como CO2 u otro dispositivo laser. Al aplicar la radiación 202 laser de características apropiadas (por ejemplo potencia de salida, longitud focal, ancho de pulso, etc.) a, por ejemplo, un miembro de soporte no tejido, se puede crear un vacío 102 pasante como resultado de la radiación laser que perfora la superficie 106, 114 del miembro 104 de soporte. La perforación mecánica o punzado se puede también utilizar para producir los vacíos o aberturas pasantes descritos anteriormente.
Como se ilustro en la FIG. 4A de acuerdo con un aspecto, la radiación 202 laser crea, al impacto, un primer borde o cresta 204 elevada sobre la superficie 106 superior y un segundo borde o cresta 206 elevado sobre la superficie 114 inferior del miembro 104 de soporte.
