Abstract

Procedimiento para mejorar el funcionamiento de una gasificador de carbón, en el que carbón y aire son introducidos por lo menos aproximadamente estequiométricamente en una zona de combustión, y los gases de combustión son reducidos por medio de carbón adicional, caracterizado porque el carbón que se va a quemar es introducido en dicha zona de combustión a dos niveles, de la cual el nivel inferior funciona continuamente bajo condiciones estequiométricas mientras que el nivel superior trabaja en condiciones estequiométricamente crecientes en respuesta a la disminución de la carga.
