Abstract
Aparato para la adsorción secuencial del contaminantes de gas de chimenea, que comprende un primer adsorbedor provisto de una primera capa de material carbonoso para adsorber trióxido de azufre de dicho gas, un segundo adsorbedor dotador de una segunda capa de material carbonoso para adsorber dióxido de azufre y óxidos de nitrógeno del citado gas, medios refrigerantes dispuestos entre los citados adsorbedores primero y segundo para enfriar el gas de chimenea y medios de conducción para pasar el citado gas a través del primer adsorbedor, donde se adsorbe el trióxido de azufre, para pasar el gas de chimenea desde el primer adsorbedor a los medios refrigerantes donde es enfriado aquel gas, y para pasar éste desde los medios refrigerantes al segundo adsorbedor, donde son adsorbidos el dióxido de azufre y los óxidos de nitrógeno, en cuyo aparato la adsorción del trióxido de azufre disminuye el punto de rocío de ácidos del gas de chimenea a una temperatura inferior a la del gas citado que pasa através del segundo adsorbedor.
