Abstract

Un procedimiento para polimerizar etileno o mezclas de éste con una o más l-olefinas distintas copolimerizables con él, utilizándose estas últimas en una proporción de hasta 40% en peso, basado en los monómeros totales, procedimiento que comprende poner en contacto el monómero, bajo condiciones de polimerización, con un catalizador (A) en presencia de un modificador de catalizador (B), habiendo sido preparado dicho catalizador (A) depositando trióxido de cromo, o un compuesto de cromo calcinable que ele proporcione, sobre un material de soporte de óxido refractario, y calentando a una temperatura suficiente al menos para producir un catalizador activo, y comprendiendo dicho modificador de catalizador (B), (1) un compuesto de trihidrocarbil-aluminio y (2) un dieno alfa, omega-alifático que contiene una cadena de 6 átomos de carbono por lo menos.
