CONSTA DE LAS SIGUIENTES ETAPAS: 1) HIDROLISIS DEL METILFORMIATO. 2) DESTILACION DE LA MEZCLA DE HIDROLISIS DEL METANOL Y EL METILFORMIATO EN EXCESO. 3) EXTRACCION DEL PRODUCTO DE FONDO CON UN AGENTE QUE EXTRAE PRINCIPALMENTE EL ACIDO FORMICO. 4) DESTILACION DE LA FASE EXTRAIDA. 5) RECICLADO DEL PRODUCTO DE CABEZA QUE SE OBTIENE DE LA DESTILACION EN FORMA DE VAPOR A LA PARTE INFERIOR DE LA COLUMNA DE DESTILACION, DONDE SE SOMETE DE NUEVO A LA ETAPA 2. 6) SEPARACION POR DESTILACION DEL COMPUESTO DE FONDO DE ETAPA 4 EN ACIDO FORMICO ANDHIDRIDO O ESENCIALMENTE ANHIDRO Y AGENTE DE EXTRACCION. 7) RECICLADO DEL AGENTE DE EXTRACCION QUE SALE DE LA ETAPA 6.
