Claims (11)
- Verfahren zum Regenerieren von rhodium- und lithiumhaltigen Carbonylierungskatalysator-Lösungen, die außerdem korrosionsfördernde metallische Verunreinigungen enthalten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die genannte Katalysatorlösung in innigen Kontakt mit einem Kationenaustauscherharz in Lithiumform gebracht und eine Katalysatorlösung mit herabgesetztem Gehalt an metallischer Verunreinigung rückgewonnen wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Harz ein stark saures Kationenaustauscherharz ist.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Katalysatorlösung zum Herbeiführen des Kontakts durch eine Festbettkolonne des Harzes geleitet wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Harz nach seiner Erschöpfung durch Waschen mit einem Lithiumsalz regeneriert wird.
- verfahren nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Lithiumsalz in einer Regenerierungslösung von Wasser und Essigsäure gelöst wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Essigsäure 0,1 bis 95 Gew.-% der Regenerierungslösung ausmacht.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Essigsäure 0,1 bis 20 Gew.-% der Regenerierungslösung ausmacht.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Lithiumsalz in einer Menge von 1 bis 20 Gew.-% vorliegt.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 4 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es sich bei dem Lithiumsalz um Lithiumacetat handelt.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es sich bei den korrosionsfördernden metallischen Verunreinigungen um Eisen, Nickel, Chrom oder Molybdän oder um Gemische daraus handelt.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Carbonylierungskatalysator-Lösung zunächst als Prozeßstrom aus einem Verfahren zur Carbonylierung von Methanol zu Essigsäure in einem Carbonylierungsreaktor durch Hindurchleiten von Kohlenmonoxid durch ein in dem Reaktor befindliches Reaktionsmedium gewonnen wird, das Methanol und eine rhodiumhaltige Katalysatorlösung mit niedrigem Wassergehalt umfaßt, welche Katalysatorlösung einen Methyliodid-Promotor, Methylacetat und Lithiumiodid enthält, um Essigsäure zu erzeugen, und daß die genannte Essigsäure von dem Reaktorablauf rückgewonnen wird, indem der Ablauf zu einer Anzahl von Prozeßströmen konzentriert wird, die eine oder mehrere der Komponenten der Katalysatorlösung und Produktessigsäure enthält.
