Abstract

E' indicato un procedimento e un dispositivo per il raffreddamento di tabacco (1) tagliato, in cui il tabacco tagliato viene alimentato quale strato il più uniformemente possibile ad un nastro trasportatore (2) permeabile all'aria e il raffreddamento avviene mediante una corrente d'aria condotta dall'alto attraverso lo strato di tabacco. La corrente d'aria viene prodotta da cassette aspiranti (4), che sono disposte al disotto del nastro trasportatore (2) e aspirano l'aria (3) dall'alto attraverso il tabacco (1) tagliato e il nastro trasportatore (2), per cui si ottiene un raffreddamento rapido ed efficace del tabacco tagliato e contemporaneamente un trattamento delicato del tabacco.
