Abstract

(57)【要約】 (修正有) 【課題】 合成樹脂性の吸入マフラーを電磁誘導により
接合する際、溶着強度の確保と気密性の向上及び、バリ
が吸入マフラーの内外に出ないようにする。 【解決手段】 密閉容器内に弾性支持された往復ピスト
ンを用いた圧縮機とこれを駆動する電動機を備えた密閉
型圧縮機の密閉容器内に設置され同圧縮機に接続される
吸入マフラーを複数個に分割した熱可塑性樹脂製の容器
により構成し、各容器の接合面の間に導電体を設置しこ
の導電体に誘導加熱により加熱を行い接合して形成する
ようにした。接合面13,15を電磁誘導により接合す
ることにより気密性を向上させ、強度を確保できる。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は電気冷蔵庫,エアコ
ンディショナ等に使用される密閉型電動圧縮機に関する
物である。
【0002】
【従来の技術】近年、冷凍サイクル用の冷媒にはオゾン
層破壊防止のために塩素を含まないHFC系,HC系の
ものが使用されており、加えて温暖化防止の観点から特
に密閉型電動圧縮機(以下、圧縮機という)はエネルギ
ー効率の高いものが求められ、一般に吸入マフラーは合
成樹脂等の熱伝導率が低いものが適しているのはすでに
知られている。
【0003】従来、密閉型電動圧縮機は特公平3−45
212号公報に記載されたものが知られている。
【0004】図8は従来の密閉型電動圧縮機の構造を示
しており、1は密閉容器、2は圧縮要素、3は電動要素
で圧縮要素2と電動要素3は密閉容器1に弾性支持され
ている。4はシリンダー、5はシリンダー4内を往復す
るピストン、6はシリンダー4の開口部を閉塞するよう
にとりつけたバルブプレート、7はシリンダーヘッドで
ある。8は2つの合成樹脂製の器体を超音波溶着により
接合した吸入マフラーで、シリンダーヘッド7に取り付
けられている。9は密閉容器1内に冷媒ガスを導く吸入
管である。
【0005】以上のように構成された密閉型電動圧縮機
において、冷凍サイクルの低圧側から流れてきた冷媒ガ
スが吸入管9より密閉容器1内に導かれ、吸入マフラー
8を経てシリンダー4内に導かれた後、ピストン5によ
り圧縮される。
【0006】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら合成樹脂
製の吸入マフラーは射出成形時、射出圧力や金型温度の
不均一により成形後の器体に反りが発生し易い。このた
め溶着を行う際、互いの器体の反りにより、接触する部
分と非接触部分が生ずる。その接触した部分が先に溶
け、次第に非接触部も含めて全周へと溶け出し溶着され
るが、先に接触した所と最後に溶けだした所では接触す
る時間の違いから溶着状態に差が生ずる。即ち、接触部
の溶け合い方が時間差により十分に溶け合わず、非接触
部が生じる。その結果、接合部の一部に隙間が生じ、そ
の隙間より吸入マフラー内に多量のオイルが侵入し、そ
のオイル圧縮によるバルブ破損の発生やこのオイルが外
部冷凍システム回路を循環して蒸発器側に停滞し、冷却
不良を生じる。更に溶着の接合強度が不足し運転中吸入
マフラーの外れが生じ異常音が発生する等の問題が有っ
た。
【0007】一方、この課題への対応として強度,気密
性を上げるためには、押圧力を大きくしたり溶着時間を
長くする手段があるが、その場合接触時間が長い部分が
集中的に溶け、溶けてはみ出した部分がバリとなり、こ
のバリが運転中に欠落すると、シリンダー内に入ること
でピストンの動きを阻害したり、バルブ機構に詰まって
圧縮不良を起こすといった課題も有していた。
【0008】これらの課題を解決するために振動溶着法
による吸入マフラーとして特開平10−252653が
知られている。しかしこの方法では溶着部が大きくなる
ことで密閉容器内への収納性に制約があった。
【0009】本発明は上記課題を解決しようとするもの
で、合成樹脂製の吸入マフラーを全周に渡って均一に確
実に接合しかつバリの欠落も無い吸入マフラーを提供す
るものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】以上のような課題を解決
するために本発明では、複数個に分割された合成樹脂製
の器体からなる吸入マフラーの接合を電磁誘導により溶
着接合したものである。
【0011】これにより器体の反りがある場合でも溶着
部の溶解が全周均一になされ、隙間の発生無く、より大
きな溶着強度を確保することができる。

【発明の実施の形態】本発明の請求項1に記載の発明
は、吸入マフラーの接合部を電磁誘導により加熱溶着し
たものであり溶着前に加圧し、溶着面全周が接触した状
態で導電体を発熱させ接触面を溶解させるため、非接触
部がほとんど無く、接触面全体が溶着されるという作用
を有する。
【0013】本発明の請求項2及び3に記載の発明は、
溝部に入り込むように導電体の円柱状の線材やプレス打
ち抜き材を設置し、溶け出した樹脂を溝部に溜めるとい
う作用を有する。

【実施例】以下本発明の実施の形態について図1〜図8
を用いて説明する。従来例と同一部分は同一符号を付
し、詳細な説明を省略する。
【0015】(実施例1)図1は本発明の一実施例によ
る密閉型電動圧縮機の平面図、図2は同側図面であり、
1は密閉容器、2は圧縮要素、3は電動要素で圧縮要素
2と電動要素3は密閉容器1に弾性支持されている。4
はシリンダー、5はシリンダー4内を往復するピスト
ン、6はシリンダー4の開口部を閉塞するようにとりつ
けたバルブプレート、7はシリンダーヘッドである。8
はシリンダー4内へ導くため2つの器体を電磁誘導加熱
により接合した吸入マフラーで、シリンダーヘッド7に
取り付けられている。9は密閉容器1内に冷媒ガスを導
く吸着管である。
【0016】図3は本発明の実施例1による吸入マフラ
ーの分解図であり、図4は図3のA部の拡大断面図、1
0は吸入マフラー8を構成する第1の器体、11は吸入
マフラー8を構成する第2の器体でありそれぞれポリブ
チレンテレフタレートの射出成形により形成したもので
ある。12は第1器体10に設けたフランジ、13は第
1器体設けた溶接面、14は第2器体12に設けたフラ
ンジであり、15は第2器体設けた溶着面である。16
は溶着面13,15の間に設置した導電体である。17
は押圧装置に取り付けられたプレート、17’は第2器
体11を固定する架台で、18は導電体16を加熱する
ためのコイルである。
【0017】以上のような構成において、第1器体10
と第2器体11はまず架台17’とプレート17により
加圧される。よってフランジ12がプレート17に接合
面と直角方向により押圧され前記接合面13,15に反
りがある場合でも器体10と器体11は弾性変形するこ
とで溶着面全周が導電体16に接触した状態になる。そ
の後コイル18に高周波を流すことにより高周波磁場が
発生する。導電体16はこの磁場によりジュール熱によ
って発熱が起こり接合面を溶解し、電流を遮断すること
で溶解部が凝固固着され第1の器体10と第2の器体1
1が一体に溶着される。
【0018】以上の様なプロセスによっていずれの箇所
でも溶着時間がほぼ一定となり溶着面は全周にわたり、
ほぼ均一に接されるため、良好な気密性と溶着強度を確
保することができる。
【0019】(実施例2)図5は請求項2及び3に示す
本発明の実施例2による密閉型電動圧縮機の吸入マフラ
ーの分解図であり、図6は図5のB部の拡大断面図であ
る。又、図7は図6の溶着後の姿を示す要部拡大図であ
る。
【0020】21は第1の器体19に設けた凸状の突起
部、22は第2の器体20に設けた凹状の溝部、23は
溝部22に挿入された導電体の円柱状の線材又は溝部2
2と同一形状の導電体の薄板プレス品である。24は突
起部21が溶着後の溶けたものであり溝部22内に収納
するよう予め突起部21の大きさを設定している。25
は導電体23を加熱するためのコイルである。
【0021】以上のような構成において、実施例1と同
じように第1器体19と第2器体20が加圧され、突起
部19と溝部22は導電体の円柱状の線材又は、薄板プ
レス品23がはさまった状態で加圧される。器体19,
20に反りがある場合でも器体19,20は弾性変形す
ることで溶着面全周が導電体23に接触した状態にな
る。その後コイル25に高周波の電流を流すことにより
高周波磁場が発生する。導電体23はこの磁場によりジ
ュール熱によって発熱が起こり接合面を溶解し、電流を
遮断することで溶解部が凝固固着され第1の器体19と
第2の器体20が一体に溶着される。溶けた24は溝部
22内に収納され吸入マフラーの内外への欠落は発生し
ない。
【0022】以上の様なプロセスによっていずれの箇所
でも溶着時間がほぼ一定となり溶着面は全周にわたり、
ほぼ均一に接されるため、良好な気密性と溶着強度を確
保することができる。

【発明の効果】以上のように本発明によれば接合面を均
一に溶着することにより隙間の発生が無く、気密性と溶
接強度を確保することができるという有利な効果がえら
れる。
【0024】また本発明によれば相対する吸入マフラー
の突起部と溝部の間に導電体を入れ溶けた樹脂を溝部内
に収めるためバリが、運転中に欠落することがなくな
り、圧縮不良のない密閉型圧縮機が得られる。

Claims (3)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 密閉容器内に弾性支持された圧縮要素と
    これを駆動する電動要素を備え、前記圧縮要素には吸入
    マフラーが取り付けられており、この吸入マフラーは複
    数個に分割された熱可塑性の合成樹脂製の容器からなる
    と共に、その器体同士の間に導電体を設置し、この導電
    体に電磁誘導により加熱を行い接合して形成されたこと
    を特徴とする密閉型圧縮機。
  2. 【請求項2】 相対する少なくとも一方の器体の縁部の
    接合面に、突出した凸状の突起部を有すると共に、他方
    の器体の縁部の接合面に凹状の溝部を形成し、この溝部
    に線材の導電体を入れ、これら突起部,溝部をはめ合わ
    せ、圧接した状態で電磁誘導により加熱を行い接合して
    形成した吸入マフラーを備えることを特徴とする請求項
    1記載の密閉型圧縮機。
  3. 【請求項3】 相対する少なくとも一方の器体の縁部の
    接合面に、突出した凸状の突起部を有すると共に、他方
    の器体の縁部の接合面に凹状の溝部を形成し、この溝部
    に導板状の導電体を入れ、これら突起部,溝部をはめ合
    わせ、圧接した状態で電磁誘導により加熱を行い接合し
    て形成した吸入マフラーを備えることを特徴とする請求
    項1記載の密閉型圧縮機。
