Abstract
【解決手段】 陶磁器基材11上に蓄光層12、13を、耐水性蓄光材及びフリットを含む蓄光層用釉薬の施釉及び焼成で形成すると共に、保護層としての透明ガラス層14を、フリットを含む透明釉薬の施釉及び焼成で形成するなど、各材料を流動性に優れる釉薬の形態で陶磁器基材11表面に供給して各層を生成することから、各材料を陶磁器基材11表面各部に対し容易に均一付着させられ、焼成を経て安定した一様な蓄光層12、13及び透明ガラス層14が得られ、陶磁器表面全体で均一に残光が現れ、残光による美観を優れたものにできると共に、複雑な表面形状の陶磁器でも蓄光層を確実に配置できる。

- 蓄光材の含まれる蓄光層を陶磁器基材表面に形成されてなる蓄光陶磁器において、
前記陶磁器基材が、透光性を有し且つ鉛及びカドミウムを含まないフリットと耐水性蓄光材とを含んで表面に施釉される蓄光層用釉薬の焼成で得られる複数層の蓄光層で表面を覆われると共に、前記フリットを含んで最外層の蓄光層表面に施釉される透明釉薬の焼成で得られる透明ガラス層で蓄光層の外側を覆われることを

前記陶磁器基材に対する蓄光層用釉薬の施釉工程が、陶磁器基材の底部を所定の支持手段に支持させた状態で陶磁器基材を所定容器内の蓄光層用釉薬中に浸漬し、当該浸漬状態から前記支持手段を陶磁器基材ごと陶磁器基材の対称軸回りに回転させながら陶磁器基材を蓄光層釉薬中から引上げ、引上げ後陶磁器基材を対称軸回りに回転させたまま前記対称軸と略直交する軸回りに支持手段を揺動させて陶磁器基材の上下位置関係を複数回変化させ、陶磁器基材表面に付着している蓄光層用釉薬の厚みを各周位置及び上下で略均一化した後、陶磁器基材を対称軸回りに回転させたまま温かい空気及び/又は乾燥空気に当てて強制乾燥させる手順で行われることを
