Claims (21)

  1. 骨欠損を有する哺乳動物を処置するための組成物であって、該組成物は、生体活性因子としての骨原性タンパク質、キャリアとしてのリン酸カルシウム材料、および、生理学的条件に曝露された際に該組成物によるマクロ顆粒の形成を促進するのに十分な量の発泡剤を含有し、ここで:
    該マクロ顆粒は、直径が100ミクロンと1ミリメートルの間であり;
    マクロ顆粒の形成を促進するに十分な該発泡剤の量は、1〜90重量%の範囲であり;そして、
    該骨原性タンパク質は、アクチビン、インヒビン、Vgr−2、TGF−β1、GDF、またはBIPを含む、
    組成物。
  2. 骨欠損を有する哺乳動物を処置するための組成物であって、該組成物は、生体活性因子としての骨原性タンパク質、キャリアとしてのリン酸カルシウム材料、生理学的条件に曝露された際に該組成物によるマクロ顆粒の形成を促進するのに十分な量の発泡剤、および骨形成細胞を含有し、ここで:
    該マクロ顆粒は、直径が100ミクロンと1ミリメートルの間であり;そして
    マクロ顆粒の形成を促進するに十分な該発泡剤の量は、1〜90重量%の範囲である、
    組成物。
  3. 前記骨形成細胞は、前駆体細胞、幹細胞、および/または骨芽細胞を含む、請求項2に記載の組成物。
  4. 骨欠損を有する哺乳動物を処置するための組成物であって、該組成物は、生体活性因子としての骨原性タンパク質、キャリアとしてのリン酸カルシウム材料、および、生理学的条件に曝露された際に該組成物によるマクロ顆粒の形成を促進するのに十分な量の発泡剤を含有し、ここで:
    該マクロ顆粒は、直径が100ミクロンと1ミリメートルの間であり;
    マクロ顆粒の形成を促進するに十分な該発泡剤の量は、1〜90重量%の範囲であり;そして、
    該リン酸カルシウム材料は、結晶性ヒドロキシアパタイト、炭酸化ヒドロキシアパタイト、ダライト、リン酸四カルシウム、リン酸一カルシウム、またはリン酸一カルシウム一水和物である、
    組成物。
  5. 骨欠損を有する哺乳動物を処置するための組成物であって、該組成物は、生体活性因子としての骨原性タンパク質、キャリアとしてのリン酸カルシウム材料、および、生理学的条件に曝露された際に該組成物によるマクロ顆粒の形成を促進するのに十分な量の発泡剤を含有し、ここで:
    該マクロ顆粒は、直径が100ミクロンと1ミリメートルの間であり;
    マクロ顆粒の形成を促進するに十分な該発泡剤の量は、1〜90重量%の範囲であり;そして、
    該骨原性タンパク質は、ヘテロダイマーの骨原性タンパク質を含む、

  6. 前記発泡剤が、炭酸水素ナトリウムを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
  7. 歯の欠損を有する哺乳動物の処置のための医薬の調製のための有効量の組成物の使用であって、該組成物は、生体活性因子としての骨原性タンパク質、キャリアとしてのリン酸カルシウム材料、および、生理学的条件に曝露された際に該組成物によるマクロ顆粒の形成を促進するのに十分な量の発泡剤を含有し、ここで:
    該マクロ顆粒は、直径が100ミクロンと1ミリメートルの間であり;そして、
    マクロ顆粒の形成を促進するに十分な該発泡剤の量は、1〜90重量%の範囲である、
    使用。
  8. 哺乳動物の骨に埋め込まれる非吸収性ハードウェアを含む材料を固定するための医薬の調製のための有効量の組成物の使用であって、該組成物は、生体活性因子としての骨原性タンパク質、キャリアとしてのリン酸カルシウム材料、および、生理学的条件に曝露された際に該組成物によるマクロ顆粒の形成を促進するのに十分な量の発泡剤を含有し、ここで:
    該マクロ顆粒は、直径が100ミクロンと1ミリメートルの間であり;そして
    マクロ顆粒の形成を促進するに十分な該発泡剤の量は、1〜90重量%の範囲である、
    使用。
  9. 前記材料が、ピンまたは強化メッシュである、請求項8に記載の使用。
  10. 網目状縫合糸の生体適合性を改善するために網目状縫合糸をコーティングするための医薬の調製のための有効量の組成物の使用であって、該組成物は、生体活性因子としての骨原性タンパク質、キャリアとしてのリン酸カルシウム材料、および、生理学的条件に曝露された際に該組成物によるマクロ顆粒の形成を促進するのに十分な量の発泡剤を含有し、ここで:
    該マクロ顆粒は、直径が100ミクロンと1ミリメートルの間であり;そして
    マクロ顆粒の形成を促進するに十分な該発泡剤の量は、1〜90重量%の範囲である、
    使用。
  11. 医薬の調製のための有効量の組成物の使用であって、該組成物は、生体活性因子としての骨原性タンパク質、キャリアとしてのリン酸カルシウム材料、および、生理学的条件に曝露された際に該組成物によるマクロ顆粒の形成を促進するのに十分な量の発泡剤を含有し、ここで:
    該マクロ顆粒は、直径が100ミクロンと1ミリメートルの間であり;
    マクロ顆粒の形成を促進するに十分な該発泡剤の量は、1〜90重量%の範囲であり;そして
    該骨原性タンパク質は、ヘテロダイマーの骨原性タンパク質を含む、
    使用。
  12. 前記骨原性タンパク質が、BMP−2またはBMP−6を含む、請求項7〜11のいずれか1項に記載の使用。
  13. 前記発泡剤が、炭酸水素ナトリウムを含む、請求項7〜12のいずれか1項に記載の使用。
  14. 歯の欠損を有する哺乳動物の処置のための組成物であって、該組成物は、有効量の、生体活性因子としての骨原性タンパク質、キャリアとしてのリン酸カルシウム材料、および、生理学的条件に曝露された際に該組成物によるマクロ顆粒の形成を促進するのに十分な量の発泡剤を含有し、ここで:
    該マクロ顆粒は、直径が100ミクロンと1ミリメートルの間であり;そして
    マクロ顆粒の形成を促進するに十分な該発泡剤の量は、1〜90重量%の範囲である、
    組成物。

  18. 有効量の、生体活性因子としての骨原性タンパク質、キャリアとしてのリン酸カルシウム材料、および、生理学的条件に曝露された際に該組成物によるマクロ顆粒の形成を促進するのに十分な量の発泡剤を含有し、ここで:
    該マクロ顆粒は、直径が100ミクロンと1ミリメートルの間であり;
    マクロ顆粒の形成を促進するに十分な該発泡剤の量は、1〜90重量%の範囲であり;そして
    該骨原性タンパク質は、ヘテロダイマーの骨原性タンパク質を含む、
    組成物。
  19. 前記骨原性タンパク質が、BMP−2またはBMP−6を含む、請求項14〜18のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
  20. 前記発泡剤が、炭酸水素ナトリウムを含む、請求項14〜19のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
  21. 明細書に記載の組成物。
