Abstract
Description
本開示のセラミック刃物について以下説明する。本開示のセラミック刃物1は、酸化ジルコニウムを主成分とする刀身2を有する。刀身2には、酸化アルミニウム、炭化ケイ素または窒化ケイ素のいずれかを主成分とする粒子が含まれている。
刀身2(基体部2b)の表面にはマーキングを有していてもよい。マーキングは、文字、図形、絵柄または模様であってもよい。マーキングを有することによって、需要者の嗜好性を向上させることができる。また、製造元または販売者等の文字または図形を含むマーキングを用いることによって製造元または販売者等を容易に特定することができる。
上述したセラミック刃物1は、例えば以下の方法で製造することができる。

Claims (7)
- 酸化ジルコニウムを主成分とする刀身を有するセラミック刃物であって、
前記刀身には、酸化アルミニウム、炭化ケイ素または窒化ケイ素のいずれかを主成分とする粒子が含まれているセラミック刃物。 - 前記粒子は、酸化アルミニウムを主成分とする請求項1に記載のセラミック刃物。
- 前記刀身は刃部を有し、前記刃部の頂部に複数の前記粒子が露出している請求項1または請求項2に記載のセラミック刃物。
- 前記頂部は、短手方向の幅が1μm以上10μm以下である請求項3記載のセラミック刃物。
- 前記粒子の平均粒径は、10nm以上400nm以下である請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のセラミック刃物。
- 前記刀身は、前記粒子を5体積%以上50体積%未満含有する請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のセラミック刃物。
- 前記刀身の表面にはマーキングをさらに有し、
前記マーキングは、前記刀身における他の部分に対して光の反射率が低い請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のセラミック刃物。
