晶駆動電圧合成波形と液晶の光透過率との関係を

Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 累積応答する液晶パネルを用いて画像を表
示する液晶パネル駆動装置において、表示用デジ
タル画像データを１フレーム分記憶する画像メモ
リと、上記デジタル画像データと上記画像メモリ
から１フレーム遅れて続出される画像データとを
レベル比較して階調変化信号を出力する比較回路
と、この比較回路により両比較データのレベルが
同じであると判断された場合には上記階調変化信
号に基づいて通常の液晶駆動電圧を選択して液晶
パネルの電極を表示駆動し、上記両比較データの
レベルが同じでないと判断された場合には上記階
調変化信号に基づいて上記通常の液晶駆動電圧よ
り高い液晶駆動電圧を選択して液晶パネルの電極
を表示駆動する手段とを具備したことを特徴とす
る液晶パネル駆動装置。 (2) 上記請求項(1)記載の液晶パネル駆動装置に
おいて、上記比較回路は、今回の画像データと上
記画像メモリから１フレーム遅れて読出される画
像データとをレベル比較して上記階調変化信号を
出力すると共に、今回の画像データと１フレーム
前の画像データが同じ場合には今回の画像データ
をそのまま出力し、今回の画像データが１フレー
ム前の画像データより大きい場合には画像データ
として最大値を出力し、今回の画像データが１フ
レーム前の画像データより小さい場合には画像デ
ータとして最小値を出力する手段を備え、この手
段より出力される画像データに基づいて液晶パネ
ルを表示駆動するようにしたことを特徴とする液
晶パネル駆動装置。
