The present invention relates to a transfer material used when transferring a painting at the same time as plastic molding, and its purpose is to mold plastic products,
In particular, it is an object of the present invention to provide a transfer material that can smoothly perform transfer painting on the surface of a plastic molded product having a complex three-dimensional curved surface with a high rising angle at the same time as the plastic molding process.

In recent years, printing has been applied to plastic products for the purpose of enhancing the decorative effect, from small letters and marks to wood grain patterns on TV and radio cabinets, cosmetic containers, household electrical appliances, and toys. It is widely used for forming color patterns, etc. As one of these methods, a method is known in which transfer painting is applied to the three-dimensional curved surface of the plastic product at the same time as the molding process. For example, the transfer material is attached to the inner surface of a receiving mold of a molding die of an injection molding machine by appropriate means so that the pattern layer is on the inside and corresponds to a predetermined position within the receiving mold, and then the injection mold There is a method in which a molding resin is filled into a mold, a transfer pattern is applied at the same time as the molding is performed, and then the molded product is removed from the mold and the film base material is peeled off from the transfer surface at that time. The above method has many advantages over conventional methods, such as direct printing or transfer printing after molding, such as ease of workability and the ability to create various decorative effects with fewer steps. It will be done.

However, the above method cannot be applied to plastic products with high rise and complex three-dimensional curved surfaces, and the current situation is to rely on direct printing such as silk screen printing, offset printing, gravure offset printing, etc. after molding. It is.
This is because the transfer material used in the above-mentioned method of applying a transfer pattern at the same time as the molding process makes it impossible to perform a beautiful transfer pattern.
In other words, all conventional transfer materials have poor stretchability, so when applying transfer images to plastic products that have a high rise and a complex structure, large tension is applied locally to the transfer material, causing cracks to occur in those areas. In addition, wrinkles may occur in other parts due to the influence of the above-mentioned parts, making it extremely difficult to apply uniform and beautiful transfer painting without causing wrinkles, cracks, etc. on the surface of plastic products. . Even if it were possible to transfer the image, there were drawbacks such as the pattern being distorted or the color density of the pattern being reduced due to local deformation of the transfer material.

In view of the above-mentioned drawbacks, the inventor of the present invention has conducted various studies and experiments, and has discovered that the various drawbacks can be overcome by using an elastomer with excellent stretchability for each layer constituting the transfer material, and has completed the present invention. Ivy. That is, in the present invention, a transfer layer 5 consisting of a transparent release layer 2, a pattern layer 3, and an adhesive layer 4, which can be peeled off from the film base 1, is provided on one side of a thermoformable film base 1 having elastomer properties. In the transfer material 6 formed by lamination, an elastomer is used as the resin component of the transfer layer 5, which is a transfer material for painting at the same time as molding. The present invention will be explained in detail below based on the drawings. Film base material 1 used in the transfer material according to the present invention
It is preferable to use a thermoformable film with excellent stretchability, such as an unstretched film with excellent stretchability such as nylon film, polypropylene film, polyethylene film, or fluorine-based film. The transparent peeling layer 2 is formed using a transparent elastomer that can be peeled off from the film base material 1 .
In some cases, the transparent elastomer may be an elastomer that can be dyed with a heat-transferable dye. Vinyl resins and the like are suitable as these transparent elastomers, and may be formed by mixing these in a suitable solvent and printing and coating. The pattern layer 3 is formed by printing a desired pattern on the entire surface or part of the layer using ink using an elastomer as a vehicle. As the elastomer used in this vehicle, thermoplastic urethane elastomer is preferred, but other elastomers such as styrene-butadiene elastomer, chlorinated polyethylene elastomer, chlorinated polypropylene elastomer, vinyl elastomer, etc. can be used. The coloring agent for the ink forming the pattern layer 3 may be a coloring agent for a printing ink that is normally used, but when dyeing the transparent release layer 2, a heat-transferable dye may be used. For example, disperse dyes, oil-soluble dyes, etc. may be used. When forming the pattern layer 3, it is preferable to form a pattern adjusted in consideration of deformation of the pattern during molding. The adhesive layer 4 is formed on the pattern layer 3 using ink containing an elastomer as a medium.
The elastomer may be selected from thermoplastic urethane elastomers, vinyl elastomers, styrene-butadiene elastomers, and others that have adhesion to the object to be transferred. When using the transfer material 6 according to the present invention,
Conventional molding methods such as injection molding, blow molding, etc. may be applied. Furthermore, when the transparent peeling layer 2 is dyed and painted using a heat-transferable dye as the coloring agent of the pattern layer 3,
If the heat during the molding process is not sufficient to dye the product, remove the molded product with the transfer pattern from the mold and heat it at a temperature within the range that does not deform the molded product, preferably under reduced pressure to dye the pattern layer 3. A suitable dyed color product can be obtained because the dye is sufficiently transferred into the release layer.

As explained above, the transfer material according to the present invention uses a film base material with good thermoforming processability, and since it is made of an elastomer as the resin component of the transfer layer, it has excellent stretchability and can be easily processed during molding. The deformation of the transfer material during the transfer painting process proceeds extremely smoothly,
Moreover, it deforms uniformly. Therefore, if the transfer material of the present invention is used to apply transfer decoration at the same time as molding, even plastic products with high rise and complex three-dimensional curved surfaces will not have the wrinkles seen in conventional products.
Beautiful transfer painting can be performed without causing cracks or the like. Therefore, the transfer material of the present invention can be widely applied to various molding machines, and can be used to print wood grain patterns,
Plastic products with beautiful decorations such as multicolored patterns can be obtained, and their utility value is extremely high.
