Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
〔技術分野〕 本発明は、透明な液体毛髪用化粧料に関するも
のである。 〔従来技術〕 従来より、養毛料などの毛髪用化粧料には、養
毛、育毛効果が期待される各種の薬効剤が配合さ
れている。薬効剤としては、例えばビタミンＥな
どのビタミン類、セリン、メチオニンなどのアミ
ノ酸類、アセチルコリン誘導体などの血管拡張
剤、紫根エキス等の抗炎症剤、エストラジオール
などの女性ホルモン剤、セフアランチンなどの皮
フ機能亢進剤、パントテン酸銅などのメラニン合
成触媒剤、サリチル酸などの角質溶解剤などが配
合され、脱毛症の予防及び治療に用いられてい
る。 脂肪酸又はその誘導体を養毛剤等の毛髪化粧料
に配合した例としては、オリーブ油、ヒマシ油等
の天然植物油あるいはステアリン酸を製品の物性
を改善する目的で配合したものがある。しかし、
これらのほとんど全てが偶数の炭素鎖長を有する
脂肪酸である。従つて、従来の市販品において
は、炭素数が奇数の脂肪酸又はその誘導体を養
毛・育毛を目的として毛髪化粧料に配合した例は
ない。また、毛髪用化粧料に配合される高級アル
コールに関しても、これまでに市販されているも
のはいずれも偶数鎖長の炭素を有するアルコール
又はその誘導体であり、奇数鎖アルコールを育毛
成分として使用した例はない。 特開昭59−27809号公報によれば、奇数鎖長の
脂肪酸又はその誘導体は、偶数鎖長のものとは異
なり、育毛効果を有することが見出され、奇数鎖
長の脂肪酸又はその誘導体を有効成分とする育毛
剤が提案された。しかしながら、この場合の育毛
剤は、その低温保存性において未だ満足すべきも
のではないことが判明した。 一般に、養毛・育毛を目的とした毛髪用化粧料
は、透明液状の製品が多いが、これは有効成分の
経皮吸収性を高めるためにも必要と思われる。即
ち、有効成分の化学構造によつては、低温で白濁
又は結晶状態で析出するという不都合を生じ、そ
のため、育毛効果の低下も懸念される。また、商
品価値上、冬期における−５℃程度の低温から真
夏における40℃又はそれ以上の高温下の保管条件
においても安定であること、即ち、白濁や結晶析
出を生じるものでないことが必要である。前記し
た公知の育毛剤の場合、このような点では未だ不
満足なものであつた。 〔目 的〕 本発明は、前記のような従来の育毛剤とは異な
り、すぐれた育毛効果を有すると共に、低温保存
性において著しく改良された毛髪用化粧料を提供
することを目的とする。 本発明者らは、このような目的を達成すべき、
種々の溶剤、界面活性剤等の添加について鋭意研
究を重ねた結果、エタノール又は水性エタノール
溶媒の使用との関連において、HLB10以下の非
イオン性界面活性剤を配合すると、低温における
製品安定性が大巾に改良されることを見出した。
また、この場合、奇数の炭素鎖長を有する高級ア
ルコールを育毛成分として用いても、同様に、育
毛効果にすぐれると共に、低温安定性にすぐれた
毛髪用化粧料が得られることを見出した。本発明
はこれらの知見に基づいてなされたものである。 〔構 成〕 即ち、本発明によれば、エタノール又は水性エ
タノールを溶媒として、この溶媒中に、 Ａ：奇数鎖長高級脂肪酸又はその誘導体、及び奇
数鎖長高級アルコール又はその誘導体の中から
選ばれる少なくとも１種、 Ｂ：HLB値が10以下の非イオン界面活性剤の中
から選ばれた少なくとも１種、 を溶解させたことを特徴とする毛髪用化粧料が提
供される。 本発明においては、育毛有効成分として、奇数
鎖長を有する高級脂肪酸又はその誘導体、及び奇
数鎖長の高級アルコール又はその誘導体の中から
選ばれる少なくとも１種が用いられるが、これら
のものがすぐれた育毛効果を有する理由として考
えられることは、第１に脂溶性であるため、皮脂
腺から分泌された毛包と共存する皮脂に容易に溶
け込み、毛根へ浸透しやすいこと、第２に、ホス
ホフラクトキナーゼを介して分解代謝されないた
め、ホルモンの作用を直接受けない、すなわちホ
ルモンの作用により生じている脱毛症に対して有
効であること、第３に、エネルギー産出効率が極
めて優れている事である。 本発明の毛髪用化粧料に用いられる高級脂肪酸
及び高級アルコール成分は、炭素鎖を構成してい
る炭素原子の数が奇数のものであれば、その炭素
鎖は飽和又は不飽和のものであつてもかまわず、
また不飽和鎖の場合、複数の二重結合を含んでい
てもよい。また、この場合の炭素鎖は高級炭素鎖
であり、その炭素数は少なくとも９個、好ましく
は11〜17個である。 以下、本発明の毛髪用化粧料について更に詳細
に説明する。本発明の毛髪用化粧料の第１の必須
成分は奇数鎖長脂肪酸、奇数鎖長アルコールおよ
びそれらの誘導体であり、好ましい誘導体の例と
しては次のものがあげられる。なお、このものの
配合量は、通常、0.1〜10重量％、好ましくは１
〜５重量％である。 イ） 下記一般式〔〕又は〔〕で示されるモ

す。R1又はR2はいずれか一方が偶数の炭素鎖
長を有する鎖式有機基であればこの発明の効果
は得られ、他の一方は奇数の炭素鎖長を有する
鎖式有機基であつてもよい。しかしながら、奇
数鎖長の脂肪酸のジグリセライドであることが
特に好ましい。 ハ）下記一般式〔〕で示されるトリグリセライ
ド
【式】 ここで、R1，R2及びR3のうち少なくとも１
つは偶数の炭素鎖長を有する直鎖式有機基を表
わす。R1，R2及びR3のうち少なくともいずれ
か１つが偶数の炭素鎖長を有する鎖式有機基で
あればこの発明の効果は得られ、他のものは奇
数の炭素鎖長を有する鎖式有機基であつてもか
まわない。しかしながら、奇数鎖長の脂肪酸の
トリグリセライドが特に好ましい。 ニ） 下記一般式〔〕で表わされる脂肪酸塩 〔〕 （RCOO）nM ここで、Ｒは偶数の炭素鎖長を有する直鎖式
有機基、Ｍは金属原子、ｎはＭの価数に対応し
た整数を表わす。代表的なものはRCOONa、
RCOOK、及びRCOOLiなどである。 ホ） 下記一般式〔〕で表わされるエステル 〔〕 RCOOR′ ここで、Ｒは偶数の炭素鎖長を有する直鎖式
有機基、R′は１価若しくは２価アルコール残
基、アミン残基、ポリオキシエチレン残基、ソ
ルビタン残基、又はシヨ糖残基を表わす。１価
アルコールの典型例はメタノール及びエタノー
ルであり、アミン残基の典型例はモノ・ジ・ト
リエタノールアミンである。 ヘ） 下記一般式〔〕で表わされる第１アミド 〔〕 RCONR′R″ ここで、Ｒは偶数の炭素鎖長を有する直鎖式
有機基を表わす。R′及びR″は水素又は人体に
悪影響を与えることがない有機基を表わす。 ト） 下記一般式〔〕で表わされる第２アミド
【式】 ここで、R1及びR2のうち少なくともどちら
か一方は偶数の炭素鎖長を有する直鎖式有機基
を表わす。R1及びR2のうち少なくとも一方が
偶数鎖長の有機基であればこの発明の効果を得
ることができ、他のもの及びR′は人体に悪影
響を与えないものであれなどのような有機基で
あつてもよい。もつとも、双方とも偶数鎖長の
直鎖式有機基であることが特に好ましい。
R′は水素であつてもよい。 チ） 下記一般式〔〕で表わされる第３アミド
〔効 果〕
本発明の毛髪用化粧料は前記構成であり、育毛
効果にすぐれると共に、低温安定性（保存性）に
おいて著しく改善されたものである。 本発明の毛髪用化粧料は、常法に従つて、養毛
料、ヘアトニツク、ヘアローシヨン、ヘアリキツ
ド等の種々の形態で用いることができる。本発明
の毛髪用化粧料は、前記成分の他、補助成分とし
て、慣用の種々のもの、例えば、多価アルコー
ル、界面活性剤、油脂類などが配合され、さらに
薬効成分としてビタミン類、ホルモン類、血管拡
張剤、アミノ酸類、抗炎症剤、皮膚機能亢進剤、
角質溶解剤などの既知の養毛剤をも同時に配合し

の効果をより具体的に説明する。なお、各例の説
明に先立つて、各例で採用した育毛効果試験法及
び低温安定性の評価法について説明する。 〔育毛効果評価法〕 体重約2.5Kgのニユージーランドホワイト種雄
ウサギ６ないし８羽を１群とし、背部を除毛し、
休止期にあるもののみを実験に供した。休止期に
あるものの除毛した背部に被験試料を各0.2mlず
つ、週２回、30ないし60日間塗布し、休止期毛が
成長期に変換するのに要する日数を調べた。育毛
効果の指標として用いた「促進日数」とは、被験
物質を含まないエタノールを塗布した場合に比べ
て、休止期毛から成長期毛への変換が何日間促進
されたかを示すものである。 〔低温安定性評価方法〕 被試験試料約50ｇを透明ガラスびんに取り、−
５℃の恒温機に保存して１ケ月経日後、白濁又は
結晶析出の有無を判定する。 〇……透明 △……微量の結晶析出 ×……白濁又は結晶析出 実施例 表−１に示す成分組成の毛髪用化粧料を調製
し、その性能評価を行つた。その結果を表−１に
示す。 なお、表−１に示した「POE」はポリオキシ
エチレン基を意味し、その後のカツコ内の数字は
エチレンオキサイドの付加モル数を示す。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １ エタノール又は水性エタノールを溶媒とし、
    この溶媒中に、 Ａ：奇数鎖長高級脂肪酸又はその誘導体及び奇数
    鎖長高級アルコール又はその誘導体の中から選
    ばれる少なくとも１種、 Ｂ：HLB値が10以下の非イオン界面活性剤の少
    なくとも１種、 を溶解させたことを特徴とする毛髪用化粧料。
