Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は半導体装置組立工程のボンデイングワ
イヤー供給装置に関するものである。
ボンデイングワイヤーは所定の機械的特性（破
断張力、伸び率）を有する必要があるためワイヤ
ーをスプールに巻く際、ワイヤーの機械的特性に
影響を与えない程度のテンシヨンで巻くことにな
り、従来第３図の如くスプールハウス１の周縁を
すべつてスプールハウス１の中心に設置したノズ
ル５を通つて供給されるボンデイングワイヤー供
給装置では高速で、また巻きの状態や振動でスプ
ールに巻かれたボンデイングワイヤー３が自重に
よりたな落ち現象となりさらにボンデイングワイ
ヤー３の重なりによる交差、くい込みでボンデイ
ングワイヤー３が円滑に供給されずにワイヤー切
れしてボンダーストツプなる事故を生じた。
近年ボンデイング装置において生産性を高め、
無人化することが急務であり、そこでワイヤ切れ
などでボンダーストツプ事故をなくす必要があつ
た。
本案はボンデイングワイヤー供給装置にボンデ
イング中ボンデイングワイヤーのたな落ち防止機
構を具備することにより上記の欠点を除去するこ
とを目的とする。
本考案を実施例にもとづいて説明すると第１図
第２図の如くスプールハウス１に嵌着されたスプ
ール２に巻かれたボンデイングワイヤー３（第２
図ではボンデイングワイヤー巻層を斜線で示す）
に弾力性を有する例えばテフロン、サランなどの
線の一方を固着してなる櫛状治具４の先を接触せ
しめたる後ボンデイングワイヤー３を巻スプール
２からスプールハウス１の周縁をすべつてスプー
ルハウス１の中心に位置せしめるノズル５を通し
て下方のボンデイング部に通じせしめる。
スプールに巻かれたボンデイングワイヤーは図
では整列巻きで示したが綾巻きでも効果は同じで
あつた。
櫛状治具４のボンデイングワイヤー３に接する
部分の材質は動物の毛、化学繊維で弾力性有する
ものであり、形状は細い線状のものであればよ
い。櫛状治具は刷毛状治具でも本案に含まれるこ
とは勿論である。また櫛状治具４は二個設置した
ものを図示したが二個に限定する必要なく２個以
上治具を設置してもよい。
本考案は上記の如くの構成で櫛状治具の先をス
プールのボンデイングワイヤーに接することによ
りボンデイング中のスプールのボンデイングワイ
ヤーのたな落ちを防止し、さらにボンデイングワ
イヤーの重なりがなくなることで交差、くい込み
もなくなりワイヤー切れ、ボンダーストツプ事故
を生じない特徴を有して高速で無人化が進んでい
るボンデイング工程をより一層進めると共に生産
性を上げえる実用大なる効果を有する半導体装置
組立用ボンデイング装置におけるボンデイングワ
イヤー供給装置を提供するものである。
