Claims (1)
- 真空に引くことができガスを導入してこれをプ
ラズマとする空間を与える円筒形のイオン源チヤ
ンバ１と、イオン源チヤンバ１の円筒壁の外周に
設けられ軸方向の磁場を生ずるコイル２と、イオ
ン源チヤンバ１の出口側に設けられる引出電極６
と、前記軸方向の磁場に対する電子のサイクロト
ロン周波数にほぼ等しい周波数のマイクロ波を生
ずるマイクロ波発振器５と、マイクロ波発振器５
で生じたマイクロ波をイオン源チヤンバ１の端面
の全体に供給するための円錐形状のテーパー導波
管７と、イオン源チヤンバ１の中でチヤンバ円筒
壁と同軸に設けられたひとつ或は複数の内壁と、
内壁によつて仕切られた複数の空胴共振空間と、
空胴共振空間の真空を保つために設けられた誘電
体窓とよりなり、外側へゆくほど空胴共振空間の
軸方向の長さが短く、マイクロ波の軸方向モード
次数が小さくなつている事を特徴とするイオン源
。
