- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １ 透明基板上に透明導電膜よりなる電極を線条
パターンに膜付けし、さらに該基板に金属製マス
ク板を重ね、基板上必要部にプラズマＣＶＤ法に
より堆積膜を積層する工程を含む表示素子形成に
おいて、前記線条電極の巾端角部を角取りしてな
ることを特徴とする表示素子。 ２ 角取りをプラズマエツチング法により施した
ことを特徴とする請求項１記載の表示素子。 ３ プラズマエツチング源が窒素系プラズマであ
ることを特徴とする請求項２記載の表示素子。 ４ 表示素子が薄膜ＥＬ素子であり、堆積膜がプ
ラズマＣＶＤ法による金属化合物系絶縁膜である
ことを特徴とする請求項１ないし３記載の表示素
子。
