【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は,フッ素樹脂フィルムの
溶融接着方法に関するものである。
【0002】
【従来の技術】耐薬品性,耐腐食性,耐微生物性,非粘
着性等を有する高機能材のフッ素樹脂フィルムを塔槽類
等にライニングしている。
【0003】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】フッ素樹脂は,熱可塑
性樹脂であるが,フッ素樹脂は溶融温度が高く,溶融時
の粘度が高く,熱伝達性が非常に小さいため,フッ素樹
脂の溶融接着は,非常に難しい。特に厚さ1mm以下の
薄いフイルムを使用する場合の継ぎ目部の溶融接着方法
には,確立されたものがない。
【0004】本発明は前記の問題点に鑑み提案するもの
であり,その目的とする処は,カバーフィルムを塔槽類
等にライニングしたフッ素樹脂フィルムの継ぎ目部に,
容易に溶融接着できるフッ素樹脂フィルムの溶融接着方
法を提供しようとする点にある。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記の目的を達成するた
めに,本発明のフッ素樹脂フィルムの溶融接着方法は,
耐薬品性,耐腐食性,耐微生物性,非粘着性等を有する
高機能材のフッ素樹脂フィルムを塔槽類等にライニング
する際のライニング層の継ぎ目部を処理するに当たり,
前記継ぎ目部にカバーフィルムを乗せ,次いでこのカバ
ーフイルムへ熱風を吹き付けて,同カバーフイルムを同
継ぎ目部に溶融接着することを特徴としている。

【作用】本発明のフッ素樹脂フィルムの溶融接着方法は
前記のように耐薬品性,耐腐食性,耐微生物性,非粘着
性等を有する高機能材のフッ素樹脂フィルムを塔槽類等
にライニングする際のライニング層の継ぎ目部を処理す
るに当たり,前記継ぎ目部にカバーフィルムを乗せ,次
いでこのカバーフイルムへ熱風を吹き付けて,同カバー
フイルムを同継ぎ目部に溶融接着する。

【実施例】次に本発明のフッ素樹脂フィルムの溶融接着
方法を図1に示す一実施例により説明すると,1が鋼板
,2が接着剤,3がフッ素樹脂フィルム3,4がフッ素
樹脂フィルム(ライニング層)3同士の継ぎ目部,5が
カバーフイルム,6が噴射ノズル,7が熱風発生装置,
8が送風機と温度・流量調節器との収納ケース,9がカ
バーフイルムロールである。
【0008】耐薬品性,耐腐食性,耐微生物性,非粘着
性等を有する高機能材のフッ素樹脂フィルムを塔槽類等
にライニングする際のライニング層の継ぎ目部を処理す
るに当たっては,鋼板1の上に接着剤2を塗布し,その
上に片面を特殊処理したフッ素樹脂フィルム3を乗せ,
これを鋼板1に貼り付けて,フッ素樹脂フィルム3のラ
イニング層を形成する。このフッ素樹脂フィルム3のラ
イニング層同士の継ぎ目部(突き合わせ部)4を接着す
る必要があるが,フッ素樹脂フィルム3同士の接着剤に
よる接着は,その表面物性(非粘着性)のため不可であ
る。
【0009】そこでフッ素樹脂フィルム3が熱可塑性を
有する点に着目して,加熱溶融接着する。即ち,熱風発
生装置7に発生した熱風(350℃〜800℃の熱風)
を噴射ノズル6から数〜数十m/secの流速で継ぎ目
部4の上に乗せたカバーフイルム5の上面へ噴射して,
カバーフイルム5とフッ素樹脂フィルム3とを溶融状態
にして,また噴射熱風の風圧によりカバーフイルム5を
フッ素樹脂フィルム3に押し付けて,カバーフイルム5
をフッ素樹脂フィルム3に溶融接着する。
【0010】このとき,カバーフイルムロール9からカ
バーフイルム5を次々に繰り出して,また噴射ノズル6
を矢印10方向に移動させて,フッ素樹脂フィルム3の
ライニング層同士の継ぎ目部4の全域を溶融接着する。 なお21は熱風温度,22はフィルム間の温度を示して
いる。次に前記フッ素樹脂フィルムの溶融接着方法の具
体例を説明する。鋼板(SS41製)1の片面に接着剤
2を塗布して,厚さ250μm程度のフッ素樹脂フィル
ム(F.E.P)3を貼り付け,同フッ素樹脂フィルム
3の突き合わせ継ぎ目部の上面に幅7mm程度,厚さ1
25μm程度のカバーフイルム5を乗せて,内径5mm
φ程度の噴射ノズル6からカバーフイルム5へ,温度4
50〜750℃程度の熱風を約5〜40m/secの流
速で噴射して,また噴射ノズル6を2〜6m/secの
移動速度で移動させて,カバーフイルム5とフッ素樹脂
フィルム3とを連続的に溶融接着した。このとき,カバ
ーフイルム5とフッ素樹脂フィルム3との間の温度22
は,フッ素樹脂フィルム(F.E.P)3の溶融温度約
280℃と急速ガス化開始温度:548℃との間にあり
,条件によって差異はあるが,320℃〜490℃であ
ることを計測した。
【0011】なおフッ素樹脂フィルム(F.E.P)3
は,熱伝導立が非常に低いため,カバーフイルム5の厚
さが厚くなったり,材質が相違している場合(溶融温度
が異なっている場合),適正溶着範囲が若干異なり,適
宜,調整することが必要になる。

【発明の効果】本発明のフッ素樹脂フィルムの溶融接着
方法は前記のように耐薬品性,耐腐食性,耐微生物性,
非粘着性等を有する高機能材のフッ素樹脂フィルムを塔
槽類等にライニングする際のライニング層の継ぎ目部を
処理するに当たり,前記継ぎ目部にカバーフィルムを乗
せ,次いでこのカバーフイルムへ熱風を吹き付けて,同
カバーフイルムを同継ぎ目部に溶融接着するので,カバ
ーフィルムを塔槽類等にライニングしたフッ素樹脂フィ
ルムの継ぎ目部に,容易に溶融接着できる効果がある。

  1. 【請求項1】  耐薬品性,耐腐食性,耐微生物性,非
    粘着性等を有する高機能材のフッ素樹脂フィルムを塔槽
    類等にライニングする際のライニング層の継ぎ目部を処
    理するに当たり,前記継ぎ目部にカバーフィルムを乗せ
    ,次いでこのカバーフイルムへ熱風を吹き付けて,同カ
    バーフイルムを同継ぎ目部に溶融接着することを特徴と
    したフッ素樹脂フィルムの溶融接着方法。
