Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 絶縁基板上の空間に陽極と陰極とを所定距
離をおいて対向配置し、この空間をバリアによつ
て複数の放電セルに隔成したガス放電表示パネル
であてつて、 上記陰極をエミツタ材料で形成するとともに、
上記陰極の近傍に、上記エミツタ材料の仕事関数
に相当した光電効果を生じる限界波長よりも短い
波長の光を発する光源手段を備えたことを特徴と
するガス放電表示パネル。 (2) 上記バリアに、上記エミツタ材料の仕事関
数に相当した光電効果を生じる限界波長よりも短
い波長の光を発する蛍光物質を設け、 さらに放電セル内を、上記蛍光物質を励起する
ための紫外線を放射する放電ガスで満たしたこと
を特徴とする請求項１記載のガス放電表示パネル
。
