【発明の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】この発明は、部品の識別を識別表
示により実現する電子部品に関するものである。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】図７は部品メーカカタログに示される従
来の電子部品である。図において、１は電子部品の本体
部、２は実装接合部、３は部品の目視用表示である。
【０００３】電子部品において、部品形名や定格の識別
は、形名や定格を示す文字やカラーコード等の目視用表
示３によっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】従来の電子部品は以上
のように構成されているので、部品形名・定格を識別す
るためには部品納入時から他の部品との混在を防ぐ管理
をしたり、プリント配線板等への実装後に目視検査や電
気的検査をすることが必要であるなどの問題点があった
。
【０００５】この発明は上記のような問題点を解消する
ためになされたもので、部品を識別することによりその
部品の形名・定格・形状などの情報を検出できる電子部
品を得ることを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】この発明に係る電子部品
は、部品識別表示を設けることにより、部品の自動的な
識別を可能にするものである。

【作用】この発明においては、部品識別表示が識別され
ることにより、部品単体から部品形名・定格・形状など
の情報が得られる。

【実施例】以下、この発明の一実施例を図１について説
明する。図中前記従来のものと同一部分には同一符号を
付して説明を省略する。図において、４は部品上面に設
けた部品識別表示である。
【０００９】電子部品の製造工程において、まず矩形な
どの部品識別表示を施す。次に、製造メーカで定めた部
品別のパターンに従ってレーザービームなどでトリミン
グを行い、部品形名・定格・形状などの情報を部品識別
表示４として生成する。
【００１０】部品識別表示４の範囲を２ｍｍ×２ｍｍと
して、単位ビットパターンを０．１ｍｍ×０．１ｍｍと
すれば、４００ビットつまり５０バイト（＝文字）とい
う充分な情報を書き込める。この分解能にてレーザート
リミングを行うのは、現在の技術では容易である。
【００１１】電子部品のプリント配線板等への実装工程
において、部品製造メーカにて生成された部品識別表示
４を、画像認識装置、パターン読取り装置等を用いて識
別し、その部品の形名、定格、形状などの情報を得る。
【００１２】上記実施例では部品識別表示４を形状によ
って判別するものを示したが、図２に示すように色を用
いてその反射波長にて識別を実現できる部品識別表示４
Ａでも良い。図２において、例えば４ａは赤色、４ｂは
黒色を示す。
【００１３】上記実施例では単一面に１　箇所の部品識
別表示４，４Ａを設けたものを示したが、図３に示すよ
うに単一面に複数箇所設けても良い。また、図４に示す
ように部品識別表示４を側面等に設けても良いし、図５
に示すように部品識別表示４を複数面に設けても良いし
、図６に示すように異なる部品識別表示４Ｂ，４Ｃを設
けて、複合的もしくは選択的に使用しても良い。
【００１４】上記各実施例では部品識別表示４，４Ａ，
４Ｂ，４Ｃを非接触にて判別する方法に基づいて示した
が、接触方法として部品識別表示を導体や磁性体などの
決まった特性を持つ材質で形成しても良く、その抵抗値
や磁力などを検出することでも同様の効果を奏する。

【発明の効果】以上のように、この発明によれば電子部
品に部品識別表示を設けることにより部品実装前に部品
の正否を判別でき、組立品質の向上、部品管理の省力化
が図れるし、又部品識別表示を用いて検査データ等の生
成も可能になってさらなる省力化、品質向上などの効果
が得られる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】　　プリント配線板等に実装される電子部
    品において、部品を識別するための自動識別処理可能な
    部品識別表示を設けたことを特徴とする電子部品。
  2. 【請求項２】　　部品識別表示が形状によって判別され
    るものである請求項１の電子部品。
