<Prior Art> FIG. 3 schematically shows a support structure for a fuel tank according to the prior art, FIG. 4 a shows an enlarged view of this from direction A, and FIG.
This will be explained with reference to FIG. b. As shown in these drawings, the fuel tank 11 of an automobile usually has the longest distance from the ground, so the rear seat pan 1
It is located under 2. That is, it is placed on the upper surface of the tank support band 13 (generally there are two), and is pressed via the pad 14 to the lower surface of the rear seat pan 12 on which the rear seat is placed by the binding force of the tank support band 13. The tank support band 13 has a rear end fixed to the rear floor cross member 15 fixed to the lower surface of the rear seat pan 12 on which the rear seat is placed, with a bolt, and a front end that can be latched from the viewpoint of workability. It is becoming. That is, a locking pin 16 that is longer than the tank support band 13 is fixed to the front end of the tank support band 13.
is latched to a latching opening 17 formed in a vertical wall at the front end of the rear seat pan 12. This locking port 17 has a narrow lower portion, and the locking pin 16 is inserted from the upper portion, and the locking pin 16 is supported by the vehicle body portions on both left and right sides of the lower portion. Reinforcement 1 has an opening formed in the same shape as the locking port 17 in order to reinforce the area around the locking port 17.
8 is superimposed on the rear seat pan 2.

<Problems to be solved by the invention> In the conventional fuel tank support structure as described above, when the fuel tank 11 receives an impact such as during a vehicle collision, as shown in FIG.
Point A, which is the tip of the flange on the upper and lower tank mating surfaces of No. 1, pivots forward around the locking portion of the locking pin 16 and moves to point C. For this reason, the gap between the top surface of the fuel tank 11 and the rear seat pan 12 increases, increasing the freedom of the tank movement during and immediately after a collision, and increasing the freedom of movement of the tank support band 13. A loosening phenomenon occurs, and the impact absorption effect of the intervening pad 14 is lost, making it impossible to reduce the impact on the fuel tank 11. In some cases, the fuel tank 11 may fall and be damaged.

In view of the above problems, the present invention prevents the loosening of the tank support band 13 by restraining the forward and downward movement of the fuel tank 11 and the tank support band 13 as described above even in the event of a vehicle collision. It reduces the impact on the tank 11, and also reduces the impact on the fuel tank 1.
An object of the present invention is to provide a fuel tank support structure that prevents a fuel tank from falling.

<Means for Solving the Problems> The configuration of the present invention for achieving the above-mentioned object includes a vertical wall portion of the rear seat pan whose front end is formed as a vertical wall surface.
A tank support band is attached to the lower surface of the rear seat pan of the rear seat pan whose rear end is formed as a rear seat mounting surface, the lower part of which is placed on the upper surface of the tank support band, and the upper part is used as the binding force of the tank support band. The fuel tank is pressed against the lower surface of the rear seat through the pad provided on the upper part of the fuel tank, and the tank support band and the vertical wall that slope upward from the front of the lower part of the fuel tank to the front end of the tank support band. A supporting member is provided in a space between the fuel tank and the fuel tank, and has a front end fixed to the vertical wall part and a rear end fixed to the lower surface of the upwardly inclined tank support band, so that a forward impact force acts on the fuel tank. According to the compressive deformation amount of the pad, the lower front part of the fuel tank can be moved along the upwardly inclined upper surface of the tank support band.

FIG. 1 is an explanatory view conceptually showing a fuel tank support structure according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a partially enlarged view thereof. As shown in both figures, a tank support band 13 and a rear seat pan 12 are provided as supporting members for the tank support band 13, and are inclined upward from the front of the lower part of the fuel tank 11, that is, from the front of the lower part of the fuel tank 11 to the vertical wall surface of the rear seat pan 12. A stay 1 is installed between the vertical wall surface and the vertical wall surface. This stay 1 has a substantially trapezoidal shape, and one end is fixed to the vertical wall surface of the rear seat pan 12 with a bolt, and the other end is fixed to the lower surface of the above-mentioned upward slope of the tank support band 13. It is fixed to member 2 with bolts. This stay mounting member 2
Both ends are welded to the lower surface of the above-mentioned upwardly inclined portion of the tank support band 13 so as to form a substantially dogleg shape, and have bolt holes penetrating the tank support band 13 in a substantially vertical direction. In other words, this stay mounting member 2 and stay 1
The bolts that secure the two are vertical. This makes tightening the bolt very easy. Furthermore, when a shock is applied, no shearing force is applied to the bolts as would be the case when bolts are directly fixed to the tank support band 13, so even if standard bolts are used, the strength is sufficient.

With the above structure, the tank support band 13 does not loosen even if it receives an impact such as during a vehicle collision, and the fuel tank 1
As shown in FIG. 2, the lower front part of the pad 14 moves upward along the upper surface of the upwardly inclined part of the tank support band 13 supported by the stay 1, as shown in FIG. rear seat pan 12
and the tank support band 13. In other words, point A, which is the tip of the flange on the mating surface of the fuel tank 11, attempts to move to point B. For this reason, the amount of movement of the fuel tank 11 is restricted by a large width, and the pad 14 also works effectively, so the fuel tank 11
The impact on 1 is greatly reduced. As a result, damage to the fuel tank 11 can be prevented. At the same time, damage caused by dropping the fuel tank 11 is also eliminated.

Note that, as in this embodiment, the stay 1 works more effectively when it is attached to the front of the lower part of the fuel tank 11, that is, below the center of gravity of the fuel tank 11. If it is located above the center of gravity of the fuel tank 11, the impact at the time of a collision will be directed toward the stay 1, which is undesirable. In this case, it is necessary to make the strength of the stay 1 and the mounting strength sufficiently large.

<Effects of the invention> As described above in detail along with the embodiments, the fuel tank support structure according to the invention has a support member located in front of the fuel tank that supports the tank support band on the vehicle body. In the event of a collision, the phenomenon of loosening of the tank support band is eliminated, and the amount of movement of the fuel tank is restricted to a large extent, so that the impact on the fuel tank can be greatly reduced, and damage to the fuel tank due to falling can be prevented.

Furthermore, as shown in the example, if the support member is attached with bolts, if the bolts are oriented vertically, workability is good and no shearing force is applied to the bolts themselves. Even if standard bolts are used, sufficient strength can be obtained.
