Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】 表面凹凸（エンボス）模様を鮮明に形成しや
すいように改良した貼り合わせプラスチックカードに関
する。 【構成】 基板上に、厚さ１０μｍ以上４０μｍ以下の
プラスチックフィルムの２乃至５層が、各層間及び最下
層と基板との間に入れられた厚さ２５μｍ以上３５０μ
ｍ以下の熱可塑性樹脂の膜をもって加熱融着されている
積層体よりなる貼り合わせプラスチックカードである。
なお、上記の構成において、厚さ１０μｍ以上４０μｍ
以下のプラスチックフィルムの２〜５層が、相互に背中
合わせに融着されていても、厚さ１０μｍ以上４０μｍ
以下のプラスチックフィルムの２〜５層が相互に背中合
わせに融着され、その間に、記録紙と写真との組み合わ
せが挟み込まれていてもよい。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、表面凹凸（エンボス）
模様を鮮明に形成しやすいようにする貼り合わせプラス
チックカードの改良に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】国民証・ＩＤカード・パスポート・運転
免許証等に、従来から、貼り合わせプラスチックカード
が使用されていることは周知である。氏名等をはじめ所
要の事項を記載した記録紙と写真等との組み合わせの上
面または両面に、プラスチックフィルムを貼着したもの
である。
【０００３】具体的には、氏名等をはじめ所要の事項を
記載した記録紙と写真等との組み合わせの上面または両
面に、厚さ１５０〜２００μｍのポリエチレンテレフタ
レート等のプラスチックフィルムを、厚さ１０〜５０μ
ｍの熱可塑性樹脂の膜をもって加熱融着したものであ
る。
【０００４】このような証明書類は偽造の対象になりや
すいので、偽造を困難にする工夫が種々となされてい
る。
【０００５】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】上記のように証明書類
として利用された貼り合わせプラスチックカードの偽造
を困難にする手段として、表面凹凸（エンボス）模様を
付すと云う着想を得たが、従来技術に係る貼り合わせプ
ラスチックカードの表面に鮮明に表面凹凸（エンボス）
模様を付すことは困難であることが明らかになった。
【０００６】本発明の目的はこの要請に応えることにあ
り、表面に鮮明に表面凹凸（エンボス）模様を付すこと
が可能な貼り合わせプラスチックカードを提供すること
にある。
【０００７】
【課題を解決するための手段】上記の目的は、基板上に
厚さ１０μｍ以上４０μｍ以下のプラスチックフィルム
の２乃至５層が、各層間及び最下層と前記の基板との間
に入れられた厚さ２５μｍ以上３５０μｍ以下の熱可塑
性樹脂の膜をもって加熱融着されている積層体よりなる
貼り合わせプラスチックカードによって達成される。
【０００８】上記の構成において、厚さ１０μｍ以上４
０μｍ以下のプラスチックフィルムの２〜５層が、相互
に背中合わせにして、熱可塑性樹脂をもって加熱融着さ
れていてもよい。この場合は、記録は、最上層と最下層
とを除く任意のプラスチックフィルムに書き込めばよ
い。
【０００９】さらに、上記の構成において、厚さ１０μ
ｍ以上４０μｍ以下のプラスチックフィルムの２〜５層
を相互に背中合わせに融着することゝし、その間に、記
録紙と写真との組み合わせを挟み込むようにしてもよ
い。
【００１０】
【作用】本発明は、本来すぐれて実験的な発明であり、
無数の実験を繰り返し、その結果にもとづいて完成した
ものであり、その作用は必ずしも明らかではないが、プ
ラスチック各層の厚さが１０μｍ〜４０μｍと薄いこと
が表面凹凸（エンボス）模様を付するには好都合であ
る。そして、表面凹凸（エンボス）模様の成形は、加熱
融着の直後になされるので、加熱融着樹脂膜の厚さが２
５〜３５０μｍと厚いことが好都合である。しかし、一
方、貼り合わせプラスチックカードの取り扱い上は、自
ずと適切な厚さがあるが、あまり厚くなると表面凹凸
（エンボス）模様を付するに不便である。これらの要素
が相互に関係して、プラスチックフィルムの層数は２〜
５層が最適層と云う結果が実験的に得られたものと思わ
れる。

【実施例】以下、図面を参照して、本発明の一実施例に
係る貼り合わせプラスチックカードについて説明する。
【００１２】図２参照 厚さ２５μｍのポリエチレンテレフタレートの薄膜１を
３枚用意し、各薄膜１間に、オレフィン系熱可塑性樹脂
２を、厚さ１５０μｍに挟み、これを２組用意した。
【００１３】図３参照 厚さ０．７ｍｍ程度の厚紙３の一部領域に写真４を添付
した。 図４参照 上記のポリエチレンテレフタレートの薄膜１とオレフィ
ン系熱可塑性樹脂２との積層体の間に厚紙３を挟み、加
熱圧着ローラ５・６間にて加熱圧着をなし、その直後
に、表面凹凸（エンボス）模様付けローラ７・８を通過
させて表面凹凸（エンボス）模様付けをなした。
【００１４】図１参照 その結果、貼り合わせプラスチックカードの表面には高
さ約０．４ｍｍ幅約０．５ｍｍ程度の明瞭な表面凹凸
（エンボス）模様９が形成された。

【発明の効果】以上説明したとおり、本発明に係る貼り
合わせプラスチックカードには、基板上に厚さ１０μｍ
以上４０μｍ以下のプラスチックフィルムの２乃至５層
が、各層間及び最下層と前記の基板との間に入れられた
厚さ２５μｍ以上３５０μｍ以下の熱可塑性樹脂の膜を
もって加熱融着されている積層体よりなる貼り合わせプ
ラスチックカードであるので、表面凹凸（エンボス）模
様が明瞭に形成できる。

Claims (3)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 基板上に、厚さ１０μｍ以上４０μｍ以
    下のプラスチックフィルムの２乃至５層が、各層間及び
    最下層と前記基板との間に入れられた厚さ２５μｍ以上
    ３５０μｍ以下の熱可塑性樹脂の膜をもって加熱融着さ
    れてなる積層体よりなることを特徴とする貼り合わせプ
    ラスチックカード。
  2. 【請求項２】 前記基板は、厚さ１０μｍ以上４０μｍ
    以下のプラスチックフィルムの２乃至５層が、各層間及
    び上層積層体最下層との間に入れられた厚さ２５μｍ以
    上３５０μｍ以下の熱可塑性樹脂の膜をもって加熱融着
    されてなる積層体であることを特徴とする請求項１記載
    の貼り合わせプラスチックカード。
  3. 【請求項３】 前記基板は記録・写真混合板状体であ
    り、該基板の下面に、厚さ１０μｍ以上４０μｍ以下の
    プラスチックフィルムの２乃至５層が、各層間及び最上
    層と前記基板との間に入れられた厚さ２５μｍ以上３５
    ０μｍ以下の熱可塑性樹脂の膜をもって加熱融着されて
    なる積層体が加熱融着されてなることを特徴とする請求
    項１記載の貼り合わせプラスチックカード。
