Claims (27)
- 1.a)ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂、b)少なくとも一種類のポリスチレン樹 脂、c)ガラス繊維を全組成物の重量を基準にして約3乃至約30重量%、 d)その組成物からの成型又は押し出し成型部品の寸法を安定させる少なくとも 一種類の無機質で非繊維質な物質の有効量、 e)炭素繊維と金属被覆グラアイト繊維から成る群から選ばれる炭素系物質を全 組成物の重量を基準にして約5乃至約15重量%、及び f)次式の一つを持つジホスフェート又はポリホスフェート化合物又はその混合 物を主要成分として成る難燃剤組成物を全組成物の重量を基準にして約9乃至約 22重量%、 から成る改良された熱可塑性組成物: ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼ ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼ ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼ 式中、R1、R3とR5は独立してハイドロカーボンで、R2、R4、R6とR 7は独立してハイドロカーボン又はハイドロカーボンオキシで、X1、X2とX 3は水素、メチル、メトキシ又はハロゲンで、mとrは1乃至4の整数で、nと pは1乃至約30の整数である。
- 2.ポリフェニレンエーテルが式 ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼ の構成単位の複数を含んで成る請求項1に記載の組成物であって、式中、各Q1 は独立してハロゲン、一級又は二級の低級アルキル、フェニル、ハロアルキル、 アミノアルキル、ハイドロカーボンオキシ、或いはハロハイドロカーボンオキシ 、但し少なくとも二個の炭素原子がハロゲンと酸素原子を分離している、であり 、各Q2はQ1に対して定義したように、独立して水素、ハロゲン、一級又は二 級の低級アルキル、フェニル、ハロアルキル、ハイドロカーボンオキシ或いはハ ロハイドロカーボンオキシである。
- 3.ポリフェニレンエーテルがポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレンエ ーテル)である請求項2に記載の組成物。
- 4.ポリフェニレンエーテルが2,6−ジメチルフェノール、2,3,6−トリ メチルフェノール及びその混合物から成る群から選ばれるモノマーから誘導され る請求項2に記載の組成物。
- 5.ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂が全組成物の約35乃至約55重量%を構成す る請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 6.ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂が全組成物の約37乃至約47重量%を構成す る請求項5に記載の組成物。
- 7.ポリスチレン樹脂がホモポリスチレンである請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 8.ポリスチレン樹脂が全組成物の約15乃至約30重量%を構成する請求項7 に記載の組成物。
- 9.ガラスがガラス繊維の形態にある請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 10.ガラス繊維を約6乃至約25重量%含有する請求項9に記載の組成物。
- 11.繊維が少なくとも約3mmの長さを持つ請求項9に記載の組成物。
- 12.繊維の平均長さが約3乃至約13mmの範囲内に在る請求項11に記載の 組成物。
- 13.成分(d)の無機質で非繊維質な物質が、雲母、クレイ、ガラスビーズ、 ガラスフレークとウォラストナイトから成る群から選ばれる請求項1に記載の組 成物。
- 14.組成物中に存在する成分(d)の量が、全組成物の約3乃至約12重重% である請求項13に記載の組成物。
- 15.成分(e)が約7乃至約10重量%で組成物中に存在する炭素繊維から成 る請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 16.炭素繊維が少なくとも約3mmの長さを持つ請求項15に記載の組成物。
- 17.炭素繊維の長さが約3乃至約13mmの範囲内に在る請求項16に記載の 組成物。
- 18.成分(e)が金属被覆炭素(グラファイト)繊維から成る請求項1に記載 の組成物。
- 19.金属がニッケル、銀、金、真ちゅうと銅から成る群から選ばれる請求項1 8に記載の組成物。
- 20.成分(f)のジホスフェート難燃剤が約9乃至約17重量%で存在する請 求項1に記載の組成物。
- 21.ジホスフェート難燃剤化合物がテトラフェニルレゾルシノールジホスフェ ート、ハイドロキノンジホスフェート、ビス−ネオペンチルピペリジニルジホス フェート、テトラフェニルビスフェノール−Aジホスフェート、ビスフェノール −Aポリホスフェート及びこれらの化合物の任意のものの混合物から成る群から 選ばれる請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 22.更に、垂れ防止剤、染料、顔料、着色剤、潤滑剤、熱安定剤、紫外線安定 剤及び可塑剤から成る群から選ばれる少なくとも一種類の添加剤の有効量を含有 する請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 23.請求項1に記載の組成物を含んで成る発泡物品。
- 24.電気消散特性を示す導電性で熱可塑性組成物であって、 a)ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂、 b)少なくとも一種類のポリスチレン樹脂、c)ガラス繊維を全組成物の重量を 基準にして約3乃至約30重量%、 d)その組成物からの成型又は押し出し成型部品の寸法を安定させる少なくとも 一種類の無機質で非繊維質な物質の有効量、 e)炭素繊維と金属被覆グラアイト繊維から成る群から選ばれる炭素系物質を全 組成物の重量を基準にして約5乃至約15重量%及び f)次式の一つを持つジホスフェート又はポリホスフェート化合物又はその混合 物を主要成分として成る難燃剤組成物を全組成物の重量を基準にして約9乃至約 22重量% から成り、 ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼ ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼ ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼ (式中、R1、R3とR5は独立してハイドロカーボンで、R2、R4、R6と R7は独立してハイドロカーボン又はハイドロカーボンオキシで、X1、X2と X3は水素、メチル、メトキシ又はハロゲンで、mとrは1乃至4の整数で、n とpは1乃至約30の整数である)、(i)まずポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂、 ポリスチレン樹脂、成分(f)のジホスフェート化合物、及び任意に、成分(d )の寸法安定剤の予備押し出しを行い、ポリフェニレンエーテルのマトリックス 中の均一な成分(d)及び(f)の分散体として特徴付けられる熱可塑性ペレッ トを形成し、次いで (ii)工程(i)の生成物を成分(c)のガラス繊維と成分(e)の炭素系物 質と共に押し出して、冷却(とペレット化)して、ポリフェニレンエーテルのマ トリックス中の均一な成分(c),(d),(e)及び(f)の分散体として特 徴付けられる熱可塑性ペレットを形成することによって製造される導電性の熱可 塑性組成物。
- 25.成分(d)の寸法安定剤が押し出し工程(ii)中に添加される請求項2 4に記載の組成物。
- 26.熱可塑性物品として発泡成形された請求項24に記載の組成物。
- 27.請求項1に記載の組成物から形成された射出成型物品。
