Claims (8)
- 1.下記式I: ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼I [式中、 Z1、Z2、Z3、Z4、Z5およびZ6は同一または異なり、−O−、−S− 、▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼、▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼もし くは▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼基{式中、R1およびR2は同一または 異なり、1−3個のC1−C4アルキル基またはC1−C4アルコキシ基で置換 されていてもよいC1−C18アルキルまたはフェニルであるか、あるいはR1 およびR2は一緒になって−(CH2)5−または−(CH2)6−であり、そ してR3は水素またはC1−C4アルキルである}であるか、または単結合であ るが、少なくとも3つのZ基が式Iに存在しなければならず、 YはB−(CH2)m−A−基 {式中、 Aは▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼、▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼、 ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼または▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼で あり、Bは▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼または▲数式、化学式、表等があ ります▼(式中、R4、R5、R6、R7およびR8は同一または異なり、炭素 原子数1−5のアルキル基であるか、またはR4とR5、R5とR6、R6とR 7およびR7とR8はそれぞれ一緒になって環を形成し、その結果、Bはナフタ レン、フェナントレンまたはインデン基となり、そしてR9、R10およびR1 1は同じものまたは異なるものであり、炭素原子数1−6の分枝または非分枝ア ルキルであるか、または隣接する炭素原子と一緒になって単環系または2−12 の環、好ましくは2−6の環を有する多環系を形成する) であり、 mは0または1の数である} であり、 XはN−Y、−O−またはZ1ないしZ6であり、a、b、c、d、e、f、g 、h、i、j、kおよびlは0−3の数であり、a+b+c+d+e+f+g+ h+i+j+k+lの合計は好ましくは炭素原子数8−16に相当し、但し、a 、f、gおよび/またはlがゼロの数である場合、▲数式、化学式、表等があり ます▼または▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼基のみが直接NまたはXに結合 し、Z1、Z2とZ3およびZ4、Z5とZ6は直接隣接せず、そしてp、q、 r、s、tおよびuは0または1の数であり、p、q、r、s、tおよびuの合 計は好ましくは2−6であり;a、b、c、d、e、f、g、h、i、j、k、 l並びにp、q、r、s、tおよびuは、環の大きさが6−36、好ましくは1 2−24となるように選択しなけばならない] で表される化合物。
- 2.錯体配位子を安定化する方法であって、錯体配位子を嵩高な第2または第3 カルボン酸および/またはスルホン酸によって誘導化することを含む方法。
- 3.請求項1の式Iの化合物の、液晶混合物への添加物としての使用。
- 4.請求項1の式Iの化合物の、配向膜への添加物としての使用。
- 5.式Iの化合物を0.01−20重量%で用いる、請求項3または4に記載の 使用。
- 6.請求項1の式Iの少なくとも1種の化合物を0.01−20重量%含有する 液晶混合物。
- 7.請求項1の式Iの少なくとも1種の化合物を0.01−20重量%含有する 配向膜。
- 8.請求項6または7に記載の液晶混合物および/または配向膜を含む電気光学 的スイッチングおよびディスプレイ素子。
