Abstract
Description
Claims (24)
- 1.(a)印刷回路板を、溶媒和剤とすすぎ剤とを含む沸騰液と接触させ(前記 溶媒和剤は、 (i)約10mmHg以下の室温蒸気圧、及び(ii)約10以上の溶媒和強さ を有し、かつ前記すすぎ剤は、 (i)約80mmHg〜約760mmHgの室温蒸気圧及び約0〜約0.05の オゾン減少係数を有する)、 (b)工程(a)に続いて、基材を、前記すすぎ剤を含み、かつ前記沸騰液の温 度より少なくとも約5℃低い温度を有する冷却液と接触させ、(c)工程(b) を、前記基材の温度を前記液体の温度付近に低下するのに充分な時間にわたって 続け、 (d)工程(c)に続いて、基材を、実質的に前記すすぎ剤からなり、かつ前記 冷却液の温度よりも少なくとも約5℃高い温度を有する蒸気と接触させ、そして (e)工程(d)の接触工程を、前記基材の温度を前記蒸気の温度付近に上昇す るのに充分な時間にわたって続けることを特徴とする印刷回路板からロジンハン ダ付用フラックスを除去する方法。
- 2.前記沸騰液が大きい重量比の溶媒和剤を含む請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法 。
- 3.溶媒和剤がテルペン、テルペン系化合物及びこれらの混合物からなる群から 選ばれる請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。
- 4.前記すすぎ剤が、塩素化炭化水素、クロロフルオロカーボン、フルオロカー ボン、ヒドロフルオロカーボン、ヒドロクロロフルオロカーボン、アルコール、 フッ素化アルコール、及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれる請求の範囲第 1項に記載の方法。
- 5.前記溶媒和剤が実質的にテルペンからなり、かつ前記すすぎ剤が実質的にフ ルオロカーボンからなる請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。
- 6.前記すすぎ剤が実質的にペルフルオロヘキサンからなる請求の範囲第5項に 記載の方法。
- 7.溶媒和剤が実質的に一種以上の有機エステルからなる請求の範囲第1項に記 載の方法。
- 8.(a)印刷回路板を溶媒和剤とすすぎ剤とを含む洗浄液と接触させ(前記す すぎ剤の蒸気圧対前記溶媒和剤の蒸気圧の比は少なくとも約20であり、かつ前 記すすぎ剤は約0.15以下のオゾン減少係数を有する)、そして(b)(a) に続いて、基材を、大部分の前記溶媒和剤を実質的に含まないすすぎ組成物と接 触させることを特徴とする印刷回路板から付着した汚れを除去する方法。
- 9.前記洗浄液が沸騰液である請求の範囲第8項に記載の方法。
- 10.(a)基材を溶媒和剤を含む洗浄液体組成物と接触させ、そして(b)基 材をすすぎ剤(前記すすぎ剤の温度は前記液体溶媒和剤の温度より少なくとも5 ℃低く、前記すすぎ剤の蒸気圧対前記溶媒和剤の蒸気圧の比は少なくとも約20 である)と接触させることを特徴とする基材から汚れを除去する方法。
- 11.前記液体洗浄組成物が前記溶媒和剤と前記すすぎ剤とを含み、かつ前記組 成物を加熱して前記すすぎ剤を沸騰させることを含む請求の範囲第10項に記載 の方法。
- 12.前記溶媒和剤が実質的にテルペンまたは有機エステルからなり、かつ前記 すすぎ剤がクロロフルオロカーボン、フルオロカーボン、ヒドロフルオロカーボ ン、ヒドロクロロフルオロカーボン、アルコール、フッ素化アルコール、及びこ れらの混合物からなる群から選ばれる請求の範囲第11項に記載の方法。
- 13.溶媒和剤とすすぎ剤とを含み、前記溶媒和剤が(i)約10mmHg以下 の室温蒸気圧、及び(ii)約10以上の溶媒和強さ を有し、かつ前記すすぎ剤が (i)約80mmHg〜約760mmHgの室温蒸気圧及び約0〜約0.05の オゾン減少係数を有することを特徴とする液体組成物。
- 14.前記組成物が大きい重量比の溶媒和剤を含む請求の範囲第13項に記載の 組成物。
- 15.溶媒和剤がテルペン、テルペン系化合物及びこれらの混合物からなる群か ら選ばれる請求の範囲第13項に記載の組成物。
- 16.前記すすぎ剤が、塩素化炭化水素、クロロフルオロカーボン、フルオロカ ーボン、ヒドロフルオロカーボン、ヒドロクロロフルオロカーボン、アルコール 、フッ素化アルコール及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれる請求の範囲第 13項に記載の組成物。
- 17.互いに不混和性である溶媒和剤とすすぎ剤とを含み、前記すすぎ剤の蒸気 圧対前記溶媒和剤の蒸気圧の比が少なくとも約20であることを特徴とする組成 物。
- 18.前記すすぎ剤が約0.15以下のオゾン減少係数を有する請求の範囲第1 7項に記載の組成物。
- 19.前記溶媒和剤が実質的にテルペンからなり、かつ前記すすぎ剤が実質的に フルオロカーボンまたはヒドロフルオロカーボンからなる請求の範囲第17項に 記載の組成物。
- 20.前記溶媒和剤が実質的に有機エステルからなり、かつ前記すすぎ剤が実質 的にフルオロカーボンまたはヒドロフルオロカーボンからなる請求の範囲第17 項に記載の組成物。
- 21.前記溶媒和剤と前記すすぎ剤が互いに不混和性である請求の範囲第1項、 第8項、または第10項に記載の方法。
- 22.前記溶媒和剤と前記すすぎ剤が互いに不混和性である請求の範囲第13項 または第17項に記載の組成物。
- 23.前記液体を撹拌することを含む請求の範囲第21項に記載の方法。
- 24.洗浄組成物を保持するための装置、前記洗浄組成物を加熱するための装置 、及びすすぎ剤を保持するための装置を含み、また前記洗浄組成物の上にある蒸 気帯域及び前記蒸気帯域中で蒸気を凝縮するための冷却装置を含む洗浄装置にお いて、前記洗浄組成物を撹拌するための装置及び前記すすぎ剤を撹拌するための 装置を含むことを特徴とする洗浄装置。
