Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】 この発明は高周波誘導発熱材を介して接合管
を接続するためIH樹脂ヒーターに関し、前記ヒーター
のヒーター体によって継手部材と接合管材との接着効果
を良好にすると共に防錆機能を向上させるものである。 【構成】 ヒーター体は熱可塑性合成樹脂と粉粒状の高
周波誘導発熱材に対してシランカップリング材をコーテ
ィングしたものとを混練成型して形成されている。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【産業上の利用分野】この発明は高周波発熱体を用いた
合成樹脂管の管継手に関し、具体的には前記管継手をI
H樹脂ヒーターで形成したもので、更に具体的には前記
IH樹脂ヒーターに対して管と管継手の融着時の接着性
と接着後の防錆機能とを向上させるようにした高周波誘
導発熱体を用いた合成樹脂管の管継手におけるIH樹脂
ヒーターに係る。

【従来の技術】この出願の同出願人は特願平5−154
525号において高周波誘導発熱体を有する管継手に関
する技術開示を行っている。前記開示技術について略述
すれば次のとおりである。図6に示すように管継手10
は熱可塑性合成樹脂材の継手1で形成されており、発熱
層2は継手1の内部に配設されており、発熱層2は図7
に示すように、継手材1と同材料、または親和性のある
異質材料21と高周波誘導性の発熱体で形成した粉粒体
22とを混練した状態で成形されている。
【0003】図8は前記した管継手10の使用態様を示
したもので、合成樹脂製の接合管20に対して管継手1
0を接続する場合には、管継手の継手1の発熱層2を接
合管20との接合部位に当接し、この状態下で高周波磁
界発生装置Eを作動させて継手1内の発熱層を誘導加熱
し、この熱によって接続部位を溶融化し、継手と接合管
を融着結合しようとするものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】この発明は上記した特
願平5−15452号の改良を目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】この発明の解決課題1つ
は前記した発熱層を単体として形成したことであり、解
決課題の他の1つは高周波誘導発熱材に対して溶融時の
接着性と接着後の防錆機能を付与したことである。
【0006】図1は前記した解決課題1のための高周波
誘導発熱体を用いた管継手におけるIH樹脂ヒーターを
示したものであり、同図において10はIH樹脂ヒータ
ー、1はヒーター体、11は熱可塑性合成樹脂材あるい
は前記材料と親和性のある異質の樹脂材、12は高周波
誘導発熱材を表わし、ヒーター体1は円筒体として形成
されており、高周波誘導発熱材をFeあるいはFe−N
i合金の粉粒体または短繊維として形成されており、そ
の大きさはほぼ0.03m/m〜2m/mであり、合成
樹脂巾に重量比で20〜90%混入されている。
【0007】図2は前記した解決課題の他の1つのため
のIH樹脂ヒーターを示したものであり、同図から明ら
かなように、高周波誘導発熱材12をシランカップリン
グ材13によってカップリング処理したものが示されて
いる。なおシランカップリング剤としてはビニル基,エ
ポキシ基,アミノ基,メタクリル基,メルカブト基など
が好適である。

【作用】この発明はIH樹脂ヒーターのヒーター体1を
熱可塑性合成樹脂とカップリング処理した高周波誘導加
熱材とを混練した構成としたもので高周波誘導加熱時の
溶融樹脂の安定と固化成型後の防錆機能をはかることが
できる。

【実施例】この発明の実施例を図3により説明すれば次
のとおりである。同図示から明らかなようにこの発明に
係るIH樹脂ヒーター10は熱可塑性合成樹脂材製の継
手部材20の円周溝21内に挿着されており、接合すべ
き接合管30,30の外表面にヒーター面を直接接触す
るようにセットされている。

有する高周波磁界発生装置Eを作動させてIH樹脂ヒー
ター10を誘導加熱し、この熱によって継手部材20と
接合管30との対接部位を溶融化し、継手部材20と接
続管30,30とを固化接続するものである。
【0011】なお継手部材20内にはIH樹脂ヒーター
を装着した場合、図示のように前記ヒーターの両側に溶
融化を及ぼさないための非発熱層部C,Cの存在するこ
とが好ましい。
【0012】IH樹脂ヒーターの他の実施例が図4に示
されている。この実施例の場合はIH樹脂ヒーター10
を網筒形状に形成したもので、網目形成杆1,1はいず
れもヒーター体で形成されており、図5に示すように熱
可塑性合成樹脂材11中に高周波誘導発熱材12に対し
てシランカップリング材13をコーティングしたものを
混練した構成とされている。
【0013】この発明は上記した実施例に限定されるも
のでなく、例えばIH樹脂ヒーターおよびヒータ体の形
状大きさは任意に設計できるものであり、高周波誘導発
熱材とこの発熱材に対するシランカップリング材のそれ
ぞれの選択は継手素材に対応するものを任意に適用でき
るものである。
【0014】その上この発明は高周波誘導発熱材にシラ
ンカップリングをコーティングしたので、溶融時の活性
化が行なわれ、例えばP.V.Cなどに対する純鉄のみ
を介在させた際、生ずる熱劣化を生じさせることがなく
熱劣化防止の促進を行うものである。

【発明の効果】この発明はIH樹脂ヒーターを継手部材
から分離した単体として形成したので、接合管に適応す
るものを自由に選択できる。また、この発明はヒーター
体を熱可塑性合成樹脂材をシランカップリング材でコー
ティングした高周波誘導発熱材とを混練した構成とした
ので、シランカップリング材が高周波誘導加熱によって
溶融化する継手部材と接合管との良好な接着のための触
媒として作用するばかりでなく、継手成型後でも前記し
た発熱材に対する防錆機能をはたすものである。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 高周波磁界発生装置によって加熱される
    高周波誘導発熱体を有する管継手において、管継手の発
    熱体を熱可塑性合成樹脂材またはこれと親和性のある異
    質の熱可塑性合成樹脂材と粉粒状に形成した高周波誘導
    発熱材にカップリング処理を行なったものと混練成形し
    て、ヒータ体を構成したことを特徴とする高周波誘導発
    熱体を用いた管継手におけるIH樹脂ヒーター。
  2. 【請求項2】 請求項1記載のヒーター体を継手部材と
    独立した単体として形成したことを特徴とするIH樹脂
    ヒーター。
  3. 【請求項3】 請求項1記載のヒーター体を網筒状に形
    成したことを特徴とするIH樹脂ヒーター。
