Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.試料中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査するための装置であって、 試料に指向され、前記試料中に存在するグルコースによって発光される蛍光を 含むリターン光を前記試料から発生させるようにする励起光を放射する光源と、 前記リターン光を検査して、グルコースの直接発光蛍光に関連する波長帯域内 の前記リターン光の強度を表すグルコース蛍光信号と、参照帯域内の前記リター ン光の強度を表す参照信号とを発生するセンサと、 前記グルコース蛍光信号と前記参照信号とを処理して、前記試料中のグルコー スの濃度を決定する処理装置と、 を具備することを特徴とする装置。 2.試料中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査するための装置であって、 試料に指向され、前記試料からリターン光を発生させる狭帯域励起光を放射す る光源であって、前記励起光が略250ナノメートルから略350ナノメートル の間の波長を有するようにする光源と、 前記リターン光を検査するセンサであって、前記励起光の波長よりも略30乃 至50ナノメートルほど長波長側にある第1の波長帯域内の前記リターン光の強 度を表す第1の信号と、略380から略420ナノメートルの間にわたる第2の 波長帯域内の前記リターン光の強度を表す第2の信号とを発生するセンサと、 前記の第1及び第2の信号を処理して、前記試料中のグルコースの濃度を決定 する処理装置と、 を具備することを特徴とする装置。 3.請求項2記載の試料中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査する装置であっ て、 前記励起光の波長は略308ナノメートルであり、 前記第1の波長帯域は略335ナノメートルから略355ナノメートルの間に わたり、かつ 前記第2の波長帯域は略380ナノメートルから略420ナノメートルの間に わたる装置。 4.請求項2記載の試料中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査する装置であっ て、 1本もしくはそれ以上の導波路を更に具備して、前記励起光を前記光源から前 記試料に送達し、かつ、前記リターン光を前記試料から前記センサに送達する装 置。 5.請求項4記載の試料中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査する装置であっ て、前記の1本もしくはそれ以上の導波路が、 前記励起光を前記光源から前記試料に送達する第1の光ファイバ導波路と、 前記リターン光を前記試料から前記センサに送達する第2の光ファイバ導波路 とを具備してなる装置。 6.請求項5記載の試料中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査する装置であっ て、 前記の1本もしくはそれ以上の光ファイバ導波路を収納するプローブを更に具 備する装置。 7.請求項6記載の試料中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査する装置であっ て、 前記プローブは体外血流内に配設されるように適応されたカテーテルである装 置。 8.請求項2記載の試料中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査する装置であっ て、前記センサは、 前記第1の波長帯域内の前記リターン光を検出して第1の信号を発生する第1 の検知器と、 前記第2の波長帯域内の前記リターン光を検出して第2の信号を発生する第2 の検知器とを具備してなる装置。 9.請求項2記載の試料中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査する装置であっ て、前記センサは、 検知素子アレーを具備する分光器であって、前記リターン光を分光して、前記 アレーの各々の検知素子で前記リターン光の異なるスペクトル波長を検出し、そ の波長の光の強度を表す別々の電気信号を発生する分光器と、 前記分光器からの前記の複数の電気信号を分析して、第1及び第2の信号を発 生する光学的分析装置とを具備してなる装置。 10.請求項2記載の試料中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査する装置であっ て、前記センサは、 前記励起光の波長と等しい波長を有する前記リターン光を阻止し、前記の第1 及び第2の波長帯域内の前記リターン光を透過するダイクロイックフィルタと、 スリット開口を有する絞りであって、前記ダイクロイックフィルタを透過した 前記リターン光の一部が前記スリットを通過するようにする絞りと、 前記スリットを通過した前記リターン光を分散させて、前記リターン光が光軸 に沿って前記リターン光の波長に比例した距離だけ分散するようにするプリズム と、 第1及び第2の信号を発生する第1及び第2の電気光学的検知器であって、そ れぞれ、前記第1の電気光学的検知器は光軸に沿って前記第1の波長帯域に対応 する距離に配置され、前記第2の電気光学的検知器は光軸に沿って前記第2の波 長帯域に対応する距離に配置される電気光学的検知器とを具備してなる装置。 11.試料中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査する方法であって、 励起光を試料に指向し、前記試料に作用して前記試料中に存在するグルコース によって発光される蛍光を含むリターン光を発生させるステップと、 前記励起光を検査するステップと第1及び第2の信号を発生するステップから なり、前記第1の信号は第1の波長帯域内の前記リターン光の強度を表し、前記 第2の信号は第2の波長帯域内の前記リターン光の強度を表すようにするステッ プと、 前記第1及び第2の信号を処理して、前記試料中のグルコースの濃度を決定す るステップと を含んでなることを特徴とする方法。 12.試料中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査する方法であって、 略250ナノメートルから略350ナノメートルの間の波長を有する狭帯域励 起光を試料に指向し、前記試料に作用して前記試料中に存在するグルコースによ って発光される蛍光を含む前記試料からのリターン光を発生させるステップと、 前記リターン光を検査して第1及び第2の信号を発生するステップであって、 前記第1の信号は前記励起光の波長よりも略30乃至50ナノメートルほど長波 長側にある第1の波長帯域内の前記リターン光を表し、前記第2の信号は略38 0ナノメートルから略420ナノメートルの間にわたる第2の波長帯域内の前記 リターン光の強度を表すようにするステップと、 前記の第1及び第2の信号を処理して、前記試料中のグルコースの濃度を決定 するステップと を含んでなることを特徴とする方法。 13.請求項12記載の試料中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査する方法であ って、 前記励起光を指向するステップにおいて使用される励起光の波長は略308ナ ノメートルであり、 前記リターン光を検査するステップにおいて使用される第1の波長帯域は略3 35ナノメートルから略355の間にわたり、 前記リターン光を検査するステップにおいて使用される第2の波長帯域は略3 80ナノメートルから略420ナノメートルの間にわたる方法。 14.請求項12記載の試料中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査する方法であ って、 前記試料に励起光を指向するステップが励起光を試料に誘導するステップを更 に含んでなる方法。 15.請求項12記載の試料中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査する方法であ って、 前記リターン光を検査するステップがリターン光を試料から誘導するステップ を更に含んでなる方法。 16.請求項12記載の試料中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査する方法であ って、 前記リターン光を検査するステップが 第1の波長帯域内のリターン光を検出して第1の信号を発生するステップと、 第2の波長帯域内のリターン光を検出して第2の信号を発生するステップと を更に含んでなる方法。 17.請求項16記載の試料中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査する方法であ って、 前記リターン光を検査するステップが、前記リターン光を異なるスペクトル波 長に分解して、第1及び第2の波長帯域内の光をそれぞれ検出するステップを更 に含んでなる方法。 18.人体の口腔内の組織中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査する装置であっ て、 励起光を放射する光源と、 前記励起光を前記光源から前記の人体の口腔内の組織に送達し、前記組織に作 用して前記組織内に存在するグルコースによって発光される蛍光を含むリターン 光を発生させる第1の光ファイバ導波路と、 前記リターン光を検査するセンサと、 前記リターン光を前記口腔内の組織から前記センサに送達する第2の光ファイ バ導波路であって、前記センサがグルコースの直接発光蛍光に関連する波長帯域 内の前記リターン光の強度を表すグルコース蛍光信号を発生し、かつ参照波長帯 域内の前記リターン光の強度を表す参照信号を発生するようにする光ファイバと 、 前記の第1及び第2の光ファイバを収納し、前記口腔内に入るように適応され たプローブと、 前記グルコース蛍光信号と前記参照信号とを処理して、前記の人体の口腔内の 組織中のグルコースの濃度を決定する処理装置と を具備することを特徴とする装置。 19.試料中に存在するグルコースの濃度を検査する方法であって、 試料に励起光を指向し、前記試料に作用して前記試料中に存在するグルコース によって発光される蛍光を含むリターン光を発生させるステップと 前記リターン光を検査して、グリコース蛍光信号と参照信号を発生させ、前記 グリコース蛍光信号がグリコースの直接蛍光発光に関連する波長帯域内の前記リ ターン光の強度を表し、前記参照信号が参照波長帯域内の前記リターン光の強度 を表すようにするステップと、 前記グルコース蛍光信号と前記参照信号とを処理して、前記試料中のグルコー スの濃度を決定する処理装置と を具備することを特徴とする装置。
