Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.電気化学的水素蓄積セル用の電極であって、前記電極は、電気化学的に水素 を蓄積および放散できる複数の水素蓄積合金材料粉末からなり、各前記粉末はパ ラジウムまたはパラジウム合金の層で被覆されることを特徴とする電極。 2.前記パッシベーション材料の層は、前記水素蓄積合金材料の表面上の酸化物 の形成を阻止することを特徴とする請求項1記載の電極。 3.前記パッシベーション材料は、水素浸透性があることを特徴とする請求項1 記載の電極。 4.前記水素蓄積合金材料は、AB5式の水素蓄積合金材料であることを特徴と する請求項1記載の電極。 5.前記水素蓄積合金材料は、AB2式の水素蓄積合金材料であることを特徴と する請求項1記載の電極。 6.電気化学的水素蓄積合金電極を作製する方法であって: 可逆的に電気化学的に水素を蓄積および放散できる水素蓄積合金粉末を設ける 段階; 前記水素蓄積合金粉末をパラジウムまたはパラジウム合金パッシベーション材 料で被覆する段階;および 前記パッシベーション金属で被覆した水素蓄積合金を電極に結合する段階; によって構成されることを特徴とする方法。 7.前記水素蓄積合金の上に前記パッシベーション材料の 層を真空被着する段階をさらに含んで構成されることを特徴とする請求項6記載 の方法。 8.前記パッシベーション材料および前記水素蓄積合金材料を機械的に剪断/混 合することにより、前記パッシベーション材料の層を設ける段階をさらに含んで 構成されることを特徴とする請求項6記載の方法。 9.前記水素蓄積合金の上に前記パッシベーション材料の層を電着する段階をさ らに含んで構成されることを特徴とする請求項6記載の方法。 10.前記パッシベーション材料を0.1μ〜2.0μの厚さまで設ける段階を さらに含んで構成されることを特徴とする請求項6記載の方法。 11.電気化学的水素蓄積セルであって: 可逆的に電気化学的に水素を蓄積および放散できる複数の水素蓄積合金粉末で あって、各前記粉末がパラジウムまたはパラジウム合金パッシベーション材料で 被覆された複数の水素蓄積合金粉末を含む負電極; 正電極;および 電解質; によって構成されることを特徴とする電気化学的水素蓄積セル。 12.前記パッシベーション材料は、前記水素蓄積合金材料の表面上の酸化物の 形成を阻止することを特徴とする請求項11記載のセル。 13.前記水素蓄積合金材料は、AB5式の水素蓄積合金材料であることを特徴 とする請求項11記載のセル。 14.前記水素蓄積合金材料は、AB2式の水素蓄積合金材料であることを特徴 とする請求項11記載のセル。
