Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.自動車のコンプレッサスーパーチャージによる内燃エンジンのエンジンブレ ーキ効果の調整装置にして、該内燃エンジンが、エンジンのブレーキモードにお いてエンジンブレーキ効果を増大する装置(10)、並びに該エンジンブレーキ 効果を増大する装置を自動車運転者が働かすことの出来る手段とを装備している エンジンブレーキ効果の調整装置において、コンプレッサ(2)が伝達比可変の トランスミッション(13)を経てエンジンのカムシャフトに接続され、ブレー キモードにおいて、エンジンの回転速度低下時にこのエンジンの回転速度に関し 上記コンプレッサの回転速度が増大出来る様、制御ユニット(15)により上記 トランスミッション(13)が制御出来ることを特徴とする内燃エンジンのエン ジンブレーキ効果の調整装置。 2.上記トランスミッション(13)が無段変速器であることを特徴とする前記 請求項1記載の内燃エンジンのエンジンブレーキ効果の調整装置。 3.上記コンプレッサ(2)がターボコンプレッサであることを特徴とする前記 請求項1或は2項記載の内燃エンジンのエンジンブレーキ効果の調整装置。 4.上記ターボコンプレッサ(2)がエンジンシリンダブロック(5)に固定さ れたブラケット(6)に取り付けられ、タービンの排気インレットはコンジット (9)を経てエンジン排気マニホールド(8)に接続され、上記ターボコンプレ ッサと上記排気マニホールド(8)とのある程度 のずれを許容する様にしたことを特徴とする前記請求項3記載の内燃エンジンの エンジンブレーキ効果の調整装置。 5.運転者により作動される制御器が制御ユニット(15)に接続され、これに 対し運転者は上記制御器を経て自動車の減速及び或は速度に対する所望の信号を 入力出来、上記制御ユニットにはチャージングの度合い、回転速度のようなエン ジンデータ、並びに、自動車速度、スロットルペダル位置、クラッチ位置のよう な車体データがセンサを通して入力され、然して上記制御ユニットはこの入力さ れた減速所望値及び或は速度と実際の値とを比較し、エンジンカムシャフトとコ ンプレッサ回転速度との間の伝達を調整し、測定値の差とスロットルペダル位置 、クラッチ位置夫々とに基づきチャージ程度を制御する様にしたことを特徴とす る前記請求項1乃至4記載の内燃エンジンのエンジンブレーキ効果の調整装置。
