- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.受信走査線上に捕捉された干渉性サンプルを使用して対象物の像を形成する 装置において、干渉性サンプルは対象物からの信号を示し、前記装置は、 (a)捕捉された干渉性サンプルの位相を調整し、ビーム間干渉を実行する位相 整列器と、 (b)位相整列されたサンプルを利用して新たなサンプルを合成する合成器と、 を備えること。 2.前記装置は、複数の送信励起事象を使用して送信ビームを生成し、個々の励 起事象の後、1以上の受信ビームの各々の上にある、前記対象物からの信号を検 出し、前記信号の干渉性サンプルを捕捉し、前記送信ビームの各々は、送信走査 線に対して実質的に整列し、前記受信ビームの各々は、それぞれの受信走査線に 実質的に整列している請求項1記載の装置。 3.前記合成器は、前記位相整列され捕捉された干渉性サンプルを結合して合成 走査線上に新たな干渉性サンプルを合成し、前記合成走査線は、(1)前記受信走 査線、及び、(2)前記送信走査線の少なくとも一方と空間的に別個である請求項 2記載の装置。 4.合成された干渉性サンプルを検出する検出器をさらに備える請求項3記載の 装置。 5.前記合成器は、前記位相整列された干渉性サンプルを重み付けし、加算する ことにより結合する請求項3記載の装置。 6.検出器は、合成された干渉性サンプル及び捕捉された干渉性サンプルの両方 を検出する請求項4記載の装置。 7.個々の送信励起事象は1の送信ビームを生じ、前記送信ビームは、前記複数 の送信励起事象について、送信走査線と実質的に整列している請求項2記載の装 置。 8.送信励起、送信ビーム生成及び受信ビーム生成のシーケンスは、視野の少な くとも一部において、合成開口走査を実行する請求項2記載の装置。 9.前記合成器は、少なくとも1つの、値が1である重み付け係数を選択し、前 記重み付け係数を重み付け及び加算に使用する請求項5記載の装置。 10.個々の受信走査線は個々の送信走査線と共直線性を有し、前記合成器は、 前記位相整列され捕捉された干渉性サンプルを結合して、合成走査線上に新たな 干渉性サンプルを合成し、合成走査線は、前記受信走査線と空間的に別個である 請求項3記載の装置。 11.前記合成器は、前記位相整列された干渉性サンプルを、重み付けし、加算 することにより結合する請求項10記載の装置。 12.合成された干渉性サンプル及び捕捉された干渉性サンプルの両方を検出す る検出器をさらに備える請求項10記載の装置。 13.個々の送信励起事象は1の送信ビームを生じ、前記送信ビームは、前記複 数の送信励起事象について、送信走査線と実質的に整列している請求項10記載 の装置。 14.送信励起、送信ビーム生成及び受信ビーム生成のシーケンスは、視野の少 なくとも一部において、合成開口走査を実行する請求項10記載の装置。 15.前記合成器は、前記位相整列されたサンプルに重み付け加算を実行する請 求項10記載の装置。 16.前記合成器は、少なくとも1つの、値が1である重み付け係数を選択し、 前記重み付け係数を重み付け及び加算に使用する請求項15記載の装置。 17.複数の送信励起事象により発生する送信ビームを使用し、超音波像を生成 する装置において、 (a)同一の送信励起事象に関連する、少なくとも2つの空間的に別個の受信走 査線上に、対象物からの信号を示す干渉性サンプルを捕捉する受信器と、 (b)同一の送信励起事象に関連する受信走査線上に捕捉されたサンプルを利用 し、第1合成走査線上に少なくとも2つの干渉性サンプルを合成する合成器と、 (c)前記合成されたサンプルを検出する検出器と、を備えること。 18.前記第1合成走査線は、送信走査線と実質的に共直線性を有する請求項1 7記載の装置。 19.前記受信器は、連続する送信励起事象から干渉性サンプルを捕捉し、前記 連続する送信励起事象に関連する前記受信走査線の各々は、空間的に別個であり 、 前記合成器は、連続する送信励起事象からの前記干渉性サンプルを利用して、 第2合成走査線上に少なくとも2つの干渉性サンプルを合成する請求項17又は 18に記載の装置。 20.前記受信器は、連続する送信励起事象から干渉性サンプルを捕捉し、前記 連続する送信事象と関連する前記送信走査線の少なくとも1つは、後続の送信励 起事象からの前記受信走査線の少なくとも1つと実質的に共直線性を有し、 前記合成器は、連続する送信励起事象からの前記干渉性サンプルを利用して、 合成走査線上に少なくとも2つの干渉性サンプルを合成する請求項17又は18 に記載の装置。 21.前記合成器は、前記合成された干渉性サンプルを利用して、第3合成走査 線上に、さらに少なくとも1つの合成サンプルを合成する請求項19又は20に 記載の装置。 22.前記合成走査線は、前記送信及び受信走査線のいずれとも共直線性を有し ない請求項21記載の装置。 23.前記合成走査線は、前記送信及び受信走査線のいずれとも共直線性を有し ない請求項17記載の装置。 24.対象物の超音波像を生成する装置において、前記装置は、複 数の送信励起事象を使用して、送信ビームを生成し、個々の励起の後、1以上の 受信ビームの夫々の上にある、前記対象物からの信号を検出し、前記信号の干渉 性サンプルを捕捉し、前記送信ビームの各々は、送信走査線夫々に対して実質的 に整列し、前記受信ビームの各々は、受信走査線夫々に対して実質的に整列し、 前記装置は、合成サンプルを合成する合成器を備え、前記合成器は、 (a)前記捕捉された干渉性サンプルを利用して、合成走査線上に複数の干渉性 サンプルを合成し、 (b)前記合成された干渉性サンプルの少なくとも1つを利用して、少なくとも 1つの更なる干渉性サンプルをさらに合成すること。 25.前記更なる干渉性サンプルは、更なる合成走査線上にある請求項24記載 の装置。 26.前記捕捉された干渉性サンプルは、単一の送信励起事象に関連する、少な くとも2つの空間的に別個の受信走査線上にある請求項24又は25に記載の装 置。 27.前記捕捉された干渉性サンプルは、少なくとも2つの別個の送信励起事象 に関連する請求項24又は25に記載の装置。 28.第1及び第2の組の干渉性サンプルを、夫々、(1)単一の送信励起事象に 関連する空間的に別個の受信走査線、及び、(2)別個の送信励起事象に関連する 受信走査線から合成する手段を有する請求項24又は25に記載の装置。 29.前記第1の組の捕捉された干渉性サンプルは、送信走査線と 共直線性を有する合成走査線上に干渉性サンプルを合成するために使用され、前 記第2の組の捕捉された干渉性サンプルは、受信走査線と共直線性を有する合成 走査線上に干渉性サンプルを合成するために使用される請求項28記載の装置。 30.前記更なる合成走査線は、前記送信及び受信走査線のいずれとも共直線性 を有しない請求項24又は29に記載の装置。 31.複数の送信励起事象により発生する送信ビームを使用し、超音波像を生成 する装置において、 (a)同一の送信励起事象に関連する、少なくとも空間的に別個の受信走査線上 に、対象物からの信号を示す干渉性サンプルを捕捉する受信器と、 (b)前記捕捉された干渉性サンプルを利用して合成走査線上に複数の干渉性サ ンプルを合成する合成器と、 (c)前記合成されたサンプルを検出する検出器と、を備え、前記合成走査線の 数は、視野の少なくとも一部を覆う受信走査線の数よりも大きいこと。 32.複数の送信励起事象を使用して送信ビームを生成し、個々の励起の後、前 記対象物からの少なくとも2つの受信ビームの夫々の上にある信号を検出するこ とにより対象物の超音波像を生成する装置において、前記送信ビームの各々は、 送信走査線夫々に対して実質的に整列し、前記受信ビームの各々は、個々の受信 走査線夫々に対して実質的に整列し、前記装置は、 (a)前記受信走査線上に、前記信号の干渉性サンプルを捕捉する、時間的にイ ンターリーブされた受信ビーム生成器と、 (b)前記捕捉された干渉性サンプルを結合し、(1)前記受信走査線、及び、(2 )前記送信走査線の少なくともいずれか一方と空間的に別個の合成走査線上に新 たな干渉性サンプルを合成する合成器と、 (c)合成された干渉性サンプルを検出する検出器と、を備えること。 33.前記時間的にインターリーブされた受信ビーム生成器は、独立にプログラ ム可能な複数のチャンネルを有するビーム生成器を備える請求項32記載の装置 。 34.対象物の像を生成する装置において、 対象物からの信号を示し、単一の受信走査線に沿う少なくとも2つの干渉性サ ンプルを捕捉する受信器と、 単一の受信走査線上で捕捉されたサンプルを利用し、単一の合成走査線上の、 捕捉されたサンプルから異なる距離に少なくとも1つの干渉性サンプルを合成す る合成器と、 後段に走査変換器を有する検出器と、を備えること。
