Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.エネルギーセンサであって、 分析される組織物質のための支持表面を有するハウジングを含み、 前記ハウジング支持表面上に画定された開口部の形で入口を有するチャンバを 含み、前記ハウジングが前記組織物質に隣接して配置されるときに前記組織物質 の第一部分が前記開口部をカバーして前記開口部の周りで前記支持表面によって 支持され、 前記チャンバ内に配置された光学拡散媒体の第一部分を含み、 光エネルギー源を含み、及び、 前記チャンバ内に配置された検出器を含み、前記開口部をカバーする前記組織 物質の前記部分が前記光学拡散媒体によって前記検出器から隔離されるように前 記チャンバ内に前記検出器が配置される、 エネルギーセンサ。 2.前記ハウジングが組織物質の前記第一部分に隣接して配置されるとき、前 記光エネルギー源が前記チャンバの反対側に配置される、請求項1に記載のエネ ルギーセンサ。 3.前記チャンバが円錐形になるように前記チャンバの壁が形成される、請求 項1に記載のエネルギーセンサ。 4.前記チャンバが更に反射壁を含む、請求項3に記載のエネルギーセンサ。 5.光学拡散媒体の前記第一部分が、組織物質の第一部分に接触したときに該 9.請求項1に記載のエネルギーセンサであって、更に、 分析される前記物質のための第二支持表面を有する第二ハウジングを含み、前 記第二ハウジングが前記物質に隣接して配置され、及び、 前記第二ハウジングの支持表面上に第二開口部の形態で入口を有する第二チャ ンバを含み、前記ハウジングが前記組織物質に隣接して配置され、前記組織物質 の第二部分が前記第二開口部をカバーして前記開口部の周りで前記支持表面によ って支持され、前記光エネルギー源が前記第二チャンバ内で前記支持表面から離 れて配置されており、前記距離は前記第二ハウジングが組織物質の前記第二部分 に隣接して配置される時に前記物質が前記光エネルギー源に接触しないように充 分な距離である、 請求項1に記載のエネルギーセンサ。 10.前記第二チャンバ内で前記光エネルギー源と前記第二開口部との間に配置 された光学拡散媒体の第二部分を更に含む、請求項9に記載のエネルギーセンサ 。 11.前記ハウジング支持表面上に画定された第二開口部の形態で入口を有する 第二チャンバを更に含み、前記光エネルギー源が前記第二チャンバ内に配置され る、 請求項1に記載のエネルギーセンサ。 12.前記第二チャンバ内で前記エネルギー源と前記支持表面に画定された前記 34.前記光エネルギー源が半導体発光ダイオードであり、前記界浸レンズが前 記光エネルギー源をカバーするエポキシバンプである、請求項33に記載の光学 センサ。 35.前記界浸レンズが前記光検出器に隣接し且つ前記光検出器と前記開口部と の間にくるように、前記光検出器が前記チャンバ内に配置される、請求項32に 記載の光学センサ。 36.前記光エネルギー源が前記物質の前記頂部表面から3〜4mm支持された 発光ダイオードを含む、請求項32に記載の光学センサ。 37.前記光エネルギー源から前記開口部まで測ったときに前記チャンバが3〜 4mmの深さである、請求項33に記載の光学センサ。 38.前記光検出器から前記開口部まで測ったときに前記チャンバが3〜4mm の深さである、請求項35に記載の光学センサ。 39.前記チャンバ内に配置された光学拡散媒体を更に含む、請求項32に記載 の光学センサ。 前記ハウジングが前記組織物質に隣接して配置されるときに、前記組織物質の 一部が前記開口部をカバーし且つ前記開口部の周りで前記支持表面によって支持 されるように、前記ハウジング支持表面上に配置された開口部の形態で入口を有 するチャンバを含み、前記開口部をカバーする前記組織物質及び前記開口を通っ て前記チャンバ内に入る組織物質が実質的に圧縮されずに維持されるように、前 記チャンバの該開口部の口が前記開口部をカバーする圧縮可能組織が前記チャン バ内に入るように充分な幅を有し、 前記物質の該部分を通過して前記開口部を介して前記チャンバ内に入るエネル ギーを検出するために前記チャンバ内に配置された検出器を含み、前記開口部を 通って前記チャンバ内に入る前記組織物質が前記検出器から隔離されて実質的に 圧縮されずに維持されるように前記検出器が前記チャンバ内に配置され、 前記開口部を介して前記検出器及び前記チャンバと通信するエネルギー源を含 み、前記エネルギー源が前記物質を通って前記検出器まで透過するように構成さ れ、及び、 前記検出器に接続されたモニターを含み、前記モニターは前記検出器からの信 号に応答して前記生体組織内の血液要素の濃度を前記物質を通って前記検出器ま で通過したエネルギーの強度によって算出する、 血液分析システム。 44.前記エネルギー源が前記開口部の対向サイド且つ前記チャンバの外側に配 置される、請求項43に記載のシステム。 45.前記モニターが分析される組織物質内の血液中の酸素飽和量を示すように 適用されたパルス酸素計である、請求項43に記載のシステム。 46.前記エネルギー源が異なる周波数を有する少なくとも2つの出力信号を発 し、前記出力信号が前記検出器によって検出される前に変調される、請求項45 に記載のシステム。 47.前記出力信号が異なる波長を有する2つの光学信号である、請求項46に 記載のシステム。 48.前記光学信号が可視赤色及び赤外線スペクトルの波長をそれぞれ有する、 請求項47に記載のシステム。 49.請求項46に記載のシステムであって、前記パルス酸素計が、 前記検出器に接続された復調器を含み、該復調器は前記検出器によって検出さ れた変調信号を復調して前記光エネルギー源の2つの出力信号に対応する2つの 復調信号を形成するよう構成され、及び、 前記復調器に接続されたプロセッサを含み、前記プロセッサが前記2つの復調 信号の強度に応答して生体細胞の血液中の酸素飽和量を示す値を生成する、 請求項46に記載のシステム。 50.請求項49に記載のシステムであって、前記プロセッサが、 前記復調器に相互接続されて前記2つの復調信号を受信するよう構成されたデ ジタルコンバータへのアナログを含み、及び デジタルコンバータへの前記アナログに接続されたデジタルコンピュータを含 む、 請求項49に記載のシステム。 51.前記パルス酸素計が前記エネルギー源のためのドライバを更に含み、前記 ドライバが前記デジタルコンピュータに接続された少なくとも入力端子と、及び 前記ドライバを介して前記デジタルコンピュータが前記エネルギー源からの2つ の出力信号を制御するように前記エネルギー源に接続された少なくとも1つの出 力端子を有する、請求項50に記載のシステム。 52.前記プロセッサが前記復調器とデジタルコンバータへの前記アナログとの 間に接続されたマルチプレクサを更に含み、前記2つの復調信号をデジタル変換 器への前記アナログに一つずつ適用するのを制御する、請求項50に記載のシス テム。 53.光源による生体肉体物質のトランス照射を介した光吸収及び光検出器によ る光の受信を感知するための装置であって、前記装置がプローブを含み、前記プ ローブは、 前記肉体物質を支持するための支持表面を有する基板を含み、 前記プローブが使用されるときに前記肉体物質が前記装置をカバーし且つ開口 部の周りで前記支持表面によって支持されるように前記基板表面上に該開口部の 形で入口を有するチャンバを含み、該チャンバをカバーする簡単に圧縮可能な肉 体物質が該開口部を通って該チャンバ内に入り、及び該肉体物質とチャンバとの 間の移動が該開口部の領域内において該肉体物質を実質的に邪魔しないように該 肉体物質が実質的に圧縮されない状態を維持するように、前記開口部が充分な幅 の直径を有し、 前記チャンバ内に配置された検出器を含み、前記検出器が前記肉体物質を通過 し前記開口を通って前記チャンバ内に入る光に応答し、前記検出器が前記開口部 をカバーする前記肉体物質が前記検出器と接触しないで前記肉体物質が実質的に 圧縮されないように離れるように前記チャンバ内で配置され、及び前記開口部を 通って該チャンバ内に入る肉体物質の前記部分のどの部分も圧縮されないように 前記チャンバが特定の幅及び深さを有し、及び、 前記肉体物質の前記部分に光を方向付けるための光源を含む、 装置。 54.前記検出器に接続されたパルス酸素計を含み、前記パルス酸素計が前記肉 体物質の前記部分を通過して前記検出器によって受信される光の強度に応答し、 生体肉体物質の血液中の酸素飽和量を算出する、請求項53に記載の装置。 55.生体肉体物質によって減衰された電磁エネルギーを測定するためのシステ ムであって、前記システムは光学プローブを含み、該光学プローブは、 厚みのある基板を含み、前記基板は前記光学プローブが使用される位置に配置 されるときに前記肉体物質に隣接して配置され、 前記基板に開口部を含み、前記開口部は前記基板の厚みを通って実質的に延在 するチャンバにつながり、前記開口部及びチャンバは前記肉体物質の一部が圧縮 による肉体物質の大きな摂動なしにチャンバ内に入れるように充分な幅を有し、 前記チャンバは前記開口部を介して該チャンバ内に入る肉体物質のどの部分も実 質的に圧縮されないような特定の深さを有し、及び、 前記チャンバ内に配置された検出器を含み、該検出器は前記チャンバ内に入る 前記肉体物質の前記部分のどの部分からも離れており、前記検出器が前記肉体物 質を介して透過される電磁エネルギーを受信する、 電磁エネルギー測定システム。 56.前記光学プローブが前記チャンバの反対側に配置された発光ダイオードを 更に、含み、前記ダイオードが前記肉体物質を通って前記検出器に光エネルギー を透過させるように構成された、請求項55に記載のシステム。 57.前記検出器に接続されたパルス酸素計を含み、該パルス酸素計は前記肉体 物質内を透過して前記検出器によって受信された電磁エネルギーの強度に応答し て該生体肉体物質の血液中の酸素飽和量を算出する、請求項55に記載のシステ ム。 58.生体組織物質の血液中の酸素飽和量を算出するための方法であって、前記 方法が、 開口部を有するチャンバ上に前記組織物質を前記組織物質の一部が前記開口部 をカバーするように支持するステップを含み、前記チャンバは前記組織物質の圧 縮可能部分が該開口部をカバーする該組織物質を実質的に圧縮しないで前記チャ ンバ内に入るように充分な幅を有し、 前記チャンバの開口部をカバーする組織物質の該部分を通過する電磁エネルギ ーを検出するために前記チャンバ内に検出器を配置するステップを含み、前記検 出器は組織物質の前記部分及び前記チャンバに接触しないように配置され、 前記検出器に軸を揃えて前記チャンバの外に電磁エネルギー源を配置し、及び 前記チャンバの開口部分をカバーする組織物質の該部分を介して前記電磁エネル ギー源から前記検出器まで電磁エネルギーを透過するステップを含み、 前記チャンバの開口部分をカバーする組織物質の該部分を通って前記検出器ま で通過する電磁エネルギーの強度を検出するステップを含み、 前記検出器によって検出された電磁エネルギーの強度を算出するステップを含 み、及び、 電磁エネルギーの強度に応じて酸素飽和量を算出するステップを含む、 酸素飽和量計算方法。 59.異なる波長を有する少なくとも2つの光信号の形で前記エネルギー源から 電磁エネルギーを透過するステップを更に含む、請求項58に記載の方法。 60.前記エネルギー源から前記2つの光信号のうち可視スペクトルの波長を有 する一方を透過し、前記光信号のうち赤外線スペクトルの波長を有するもう一方 を透過するステップを更に含む、請求項59に記載の方法。 61.前記エネルギー源から前記検出器に透過された前記2つの光信号を変調す るステップと、及び、 前記検出器によって検出された2つの変調光信号を復調して、前記エネルギー 源によって透過された2つの光信号に対応する2つの復調信号を形成するステッ プと、 を更に含む、請求項60に記載の方法。 62.前記2つの復調信号を前記検出器からデジタルコンピュータに供給し、前 記2つの復調信号の強度に応じて、組織物質の血液内の酸素飽和量を算出するス テップを更に含む、請求項61に記載の方法。 63.マルチプレクサによって前記検出器からデジタル変換器へのアナログに前 記2つの復調信号を1つずつ供給するステップと、デジタルコンピュータへの前 記アナログ信号の出力を前記デジタルコンピュータに供給するステップとを更に 含む、請求項62に記載の方法。
