Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.捕集粒子をセルロース液と混合することからなる、セルロース系材料のパ ルプ化または脱インクから得られるコロイド状粘着物質によるセルロース液の汚 染を減少する方法であって、前記捕集粒子が、重合体粒子の水性エマルジョンと して供給され、かつ以下の成分を含有する水不溶性単量体混合物: a)少なくとも20重量%の、5g/100ccより低い水への溶解度を有 する疎水性単量体: b)少なくとも10重量%の、実質的にイオン化されていない場合に単量体 ブレンドに優先的に溶解可能であるが、イオン化された場合に水に優先的に溶解 可能な親水性のイオン化し得る単量体: c)0〜50重量%の、単量体ブレンドに優先的に溶解可能であり、かつ約5g /100ccより高い水への溶解度を有するイオン化し得ない親水性単量体:及 び d)0.05〜10%の架橋剤 から成る重合体粒子であり、かつa、b、c及びdの割合が、3%(乾量重合体 )の水性エマルジョンを酸またはアルカリとブレンドして単量体(b)をイオン 化することによって生成される水性組成物が、膨潤粒子状の重合体を含有する液 状組成物となるようなものであることを特徴とする方法。 2.前記液が、脱インク工程からの洗浄水である請求項1記載の方法。 3.前記液が、製紙工程からの濃厚製紙原料、希薄製紙原料または白水である 請求項1記載の方法。 4.水溶性凝集剤または凝析剤を前記液に添加する前記請求項のいずれかに記 載の方法。 5.前記重合体粒子が、アニオン性であり、かつ水溶性カチオン性凝固剤を引 き続き前記液に添加する前記請求項のいずれかに記載の方法。 6.前記粘着物が重合体粒子と共に集合し、かつ沈降、濾過または浮選によっ て前記液から除去される請求項5記載の方法。 7.凝集剤が、前記液に添加され、そして凝集剤が、ポリアミン類、ポリエチ レンイミン類、及び80〜100%のエチレン系不飽和カチオン性単量体、好ま しくはDADMACと、0〜20%のエチレン系不飽和非イオン性単量体との共 重合体類から選択される請求項4〜6のいずれかに記載の方法。 8.前記エマルジョンが、膨潤していない場合に0.02〜0.5μmの粒度 を有し、かつパルプ中での普通のpHにおいて前記非膨潤粒度の少なくとも1. 5倍である、0.1〜5μmの粒度を有する前記請求項のいずれかに記載の方法 。 9.前記重合体エマルジョンが、パルプ中での普通のpHで、ブルックフィー ルドRVT粘度計によって測定して10,000cpsより低い粘度を示す前記 請求項のいずれかに記載の方法。 10.架橋剤の量が、少なくとも0.5重量%である前記請求項のいずれかに 記載の方法。 11.単量体(a)の量が40〜70%であり、単量体(b)の量が30〜6 0%であり、そして単量体(c)の量が0〜30%であり、また、単量体(a) 、(b)及び(c)が、それぞれエチレン系不飽和である前記請求項のいずれか に記載の方法。 12.単量体(a)が、(メタ)アクリル酸アルキル類、スチレン類、ビニル エステル類、アクリロニトリル類、会合エチレン系不飽和単量体類、及びビニル エーテル類から選択され、単量体(b) が、エチレン系不飽和カルボン酸類及びアミン類から選択され、単量体(c)が 、(メタ)アクリル酸ヒドロキシアルキルであり、そして単量体(d)が、油溶 性ポリエチレン系不飽和単量体である前記請求項のいずれかに記載の方法。
