Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ガラス繊維を水和して、該ガラス繊維における水含量を約11〜約20重量%と し、該ガラス繊維を少なくとも約3分間混合し、それによりペレットを形成し、 かつ乾燥する方法により製造されたペレットを含む強化組成物。 2.ガラス繊維を約3〜約15分間混合した請求項1に記載の強化組成物。 3.ガラス繊維を約5〜約10分間混合した請求項2に記載の強化組成物。 4.ガラス繊維を約8〜約9分間混合した請求項3に記載の強化組成物。 5.ガラス繊維の水含量が約12〜約18重量%である請求項1に記載の強化組成物 。 6.ガラス繊維の水含量が約14〜約15重量%である請求項5に記載の強化組成物 。 7.ガラス繊維の長さが3.2〜6.4mmである請求項1に記載の強化組成物。 8.ペレットを約150 〜約315 ℃の温度で乾燥させた請求項1に記載の強化組成 物。 9.ペレットを約200 〜約250 ℃の温度で乾燥させた請求項8に記載の強化組成 物。 10.2以上の異なる直径のガラス繊維を使用した請求項1に記載の強化組成物。 11.ガラス繊維を十分な水でコーティングすることにより該ガラス繊維を水和し て該ガラス繊維における水含量を約11〜約20重量%とし、該ガラス繊維を少なく とも約3分間混合し、それによりペレットを形成し、かつ乾燥するという工程を 含む、新規ガラス繊維組成物を製造する方法。 12.ガラス繊維を約3〜約15分間混合する請求項11に記載の方法。 13.ガラス繊維を約5〜約10分間混合する請求項12に記載の方法。 14.ガラス繊維を約8〜約9分間混合する請求項13に記載の方法。 15.水和後のガラス繊維の水含量が約12〜約18重量%である請求項11に記載の方 法。 16.水和後のガラス繊維の水含量が約14〜約15重量%である請求項15に記載の方 法。 17.ガラス繊維の長さが3.2〜6.4mmである請求項11に記載の方法。 18.ペレットを約185 〜約300 ℃の温度で乾燥させる請求項11に記載の方法。 19.ガラス繊維を約200 〜約250 ℃の温度で乾燥させる請求項18に記載の方法。 20.2以上の異なる直径を有するガラス繊維を使用する請求項11に記載の方法。
