Abstract
PURPOSE: Reinforcing fibers and a resin are placed on an inorganic molded plate in turn and they are pressed to cure the resin, thereby producing laminates consisting of fiber-reinforced plastic and inorganic layers with high impact strength and durability and improved appearance in high-efficiency operations.
CONSTITUTION: In the production of fiber-reinforced resin and inorganic layer laminates by piling fiber-reinforced resin layers on inorganic molded plates, a resin with a viscosity of less than 500 poise is coated on at least one surface of the inorganic molded plate, then fibers for reinforcing are placed on the resin, or reinforcing fibers impregnated with a resin of less than 500 poise viscosity are placed, and they are pressed and the resin is cured during or after pressing. The fibers for reinforcing are, glass fibers, boron fibers or carbon fibers. The resin is, e.g., epoxy, unsaturated polyester or polyamide resin.
