Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable bead appearance and toughness to be improved by filling the flux of the specific composition in the hollow part of the tubular wire of carbon steel or low alloy steel. CONSTITUTION:A hoop of carbon steel or low alloy steel is bent with rollers, whereby it is formed to bend form. The flux containing MgO; 3 to 30%, Mn; 6% or under and Si; 0.1 to 2.0% based on the weight of wire is filled in the hollow part of the bend. Or producing the wire by filling the foregoing flux in a pipe which has beforehand been formed gives equally good results.
