Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to always know the accurate fuel remainder by setting the quantity of fuel to be added so that the fuel consumption is indicated in a subtracted manner from the set quantity.
CONSTITUTION: The fuel remainder meter is equipped with a sensor 1, which is operative to detect that the fuel is at a full level, an additional fuel setting circuit 3, which can manually set the quantity of addition when the fuel is to be added, and a detecting circuit which is operative to generate full-level signals when the detected signals from the sensor 1 are generated continuously for a period longer than a preset one. Upon the fuel supply up to the full level, a counter circuit 7 is automatically set at its full level, and upon the additional; fuel supply falling short of the full level the set quantity of addition of the manual operation is set for the addition. After that, the fuel consumption is accurately detected at 6 and is subtracted at 7 so that the remainder indication 8 can be always accomplished highly accurately.
