Abstract
PURPOSE: Title composition that is made by adding a polyamide resin and an olefin copolymer containing epoxy groups to a polyester in a specific proportion, thus increasing the stiffness and being used as film, sheet or coating.
CONSTITUTION: To (A) 60W98.5, preferably 74W97pts.wt. polyethylene terephthalate or a copolyester containing more than 80mol%, preferably more than 90mol% of ethylene terephthalate recurring units, preferably with an intrinsic viscosity of higher than 0.5 in a phenol-tetrachloroethane mixed solvent at 80°C are, added (B) 1W39.5, preferably 2W25 parts of a polyamide resin, preferably of more than 10,000 molecular weight, and (C) 0.5W25, preferably 1W20 parts of a modified olefinic copolymer containing 600W150,000 equivalent amount of epoxy groups, preferably with a glass transition point of lower than 0°C and they are kneaded.
