Abstract

PURPOSE: To color the surface of Al in profound golden color at low cost, by dipping in the black color group dyestuff solution after forming alumina layer having many pin holes on Al surface carrying out anodic oxidation treatment and baking at a high temperature after carrying out imperfect sealing treatment.
CONSTITUTION: The alumina layer 3 having many starlike columnar pin holes 1 on Al 2 surface, is formed carrying out anodic oxidation treatment of Al. The above Al 2 is dipped in the black color group dyestuff solution and the dyestuff is absorbed, transferred and then, is filled up in the inner part of the holes 1 by electrostatic absorption action between positive charged face of the inner wall of the holes 1 and negative charged dyestuff particle by heating at a suitable temperature. Black alumite dyeing of Al surface is carried out when Al 2 is taken out of the dyestuff solution and is washed with water. Next, Al 2 is dipped and boiled in sealing agent solution and then, openings of the holes 1 are sealed remaining a minute hole parts and moreover, a high temperature baking of alumite dyed face is carried out. As a result of it, dyed color of profound golden alumite is obtained changing black color.
