Abstract
PURPOSE: A composition that is produced by mixing a specific polyol component composed of aliphatic and aromatic polyester polyols and a nonyellowing type polyisocyanate component at a specific ratio, thus being suitably used in potting to produce decorative articles.
CONSTITUTION: The objective resin composition includes (A) a polyol component that is composed of 100pts.wt. of an aliphatic polyester polyol and 10W100pts.wt. of aromatic polyester, which is obtained by copolymerization of a lower alcohol ester to hydroxymethacrylic acid to a polycondensation product from a 6W10C straight chain dicarboxylic acid and a straight chain glycol and another polycondensation product from an aromatic di- or tricarboxylic acid and a 2W8C straight chain glycol and has an OH value of 100W250, (B) a nonyellowing type isocyanate component that contains 5W25wt% isocyanate groups and has a number-average molecular weight of 100W2,000 at a ratio of 1.1W0.9 OH/NCO and (C) a catalyst.
