Abstract

PURPOSE: To inspect the paper-tape feeder without using an IC tester by providing a means to temporarily store and display the output from the paper-tape feeder together with a means to generate a paper-tape feed signal.
CONSTITUTION: Inputted to an inspecting apparatus 12 are a data signal A outputted from the paper-tape feeder and a data-discriminating signal B synchronous with the data signal A. The data-discriminating signal B is inputted to a control circuit 16, and the data signal A is latched in a temporary storage circuit 13 by a data- latching timing signal from the control circuit 16. The data latched in the temporary storage circuit 13 is, through a converter circuit 14, displayed by a display circuit 15 in order to confirm the data. The control circuit 16 outputs the paper-tape feed signal C as a response signal to the paper-tape feeder to advance the paper tape by one-data portion. This operation is repeated to perform the inspection.
