Abstract
PURPOSE:To widen the band and also to attain simplification with regard to structure while a conversion part is inserted from the flank of a rectangular waveguide by bending a center conductor after making a semiridged cable penetrate a metal plate through which the flank of the rectangular waveguide is short-circuited. CONSTITUTION:On the outside surface of flange 11a of rectangular waveguide 11, metal plate 12 is fixed to short-circuited the flank on the flange 11a side and coaxial connector 13 is fitted shifting in position from the center of the metal plate 12 to the tube surface of wide width of waveguide 11. Semiridged cable 14 is connected to coaxial connector 13 and outer conductor 14a is inserted into waveguide 11 from metal plate 12 by a random length to come in contact with the tube surface of wide width of waveguide 11. Center conductor 14b on the other hand, further projects from outer conductor 14a along the tube surface wide width of waveguide 11 and its tip part is bent at a fixed angle in a plane nearly in parallel to the tube surface of narrow width of waveguide 11b, thereby performing mutual conversion between a coaxial mode and rectangular waveguide mode.
