Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the starting quality of an engine, by storing the relation between temperature of the engine at its start and required fuel injection time and performing temporary injection of fuel instantaneously when an engine key is inserted.
CONSTITUTION: The relation between engine temperature TE and a required fuel injection time signal Ti at said temperature is stored in a memory 1. Now if a main switch S is turned on, the required fuel injection time signal Ti in accordance with then engine temperature TE is read from the memory 1 and stored in a register 2. Simultaneously with the above, FF6 is set and a preset down counter 3 is preset by the signal Ti. Then a counting value of the counter 3 is decreased by the clock Cl from a clock generator 7, when this value reaches zero a detector 4 generates output to reset the FF6. During this period a fuel injection solenoid is energized to perform fuel injection.
