Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (R1 is 1W10C alkyl, phenyl, etc.; R2 is H, OH, etc.; R3 is H or 1W20C straight or branched chain or cyclic alkyl which may have 1W2 unsaturated bonds; R4 is H or 1W10C alkyl).
EXAMPLE: 5-Phenylthioprostaglandin I2-bis-tert-butyldimethylsilyl ether methyl ester.
USE: A prostaglandin I2 analog and intermediate for a medicine, agricultural chemical, perfume, etc.
PROCESS: An allyl sulfide derivative expressed by formula II is isomerized in the presence of an acid catalyst, preferably sulfuric acid, in a molar amount of 0.01W 0.2 that of the allyl sulfide derivative expressed by formula II to give the compound expressed by formula I. The reaction is carried out at -70W40°C for 5minW3hr.
