Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the resistance of a bearing roller in the electrolyte solution while maintaining the good machinability by moulding the bearing roller with a material consisting of polypropylene 90W60wt% and carbon fiber 10W40wt%.
CONSTITUTION: A bearing roller is made from a material consisiting of polypropylene resin 90W60wt% and carbon fiber 10W40wt%. A wear resistance improving agent or oxidation agent such as fluorocarbon resin or silicon oil may be added to the material. If the blending ratio of carbon fiber exceeds 40wt% the good machinability of polypropylene and the resistance to the electroclemical corrosion and lost while the strength of the material increases, and the reinforcing effect of carbon fiber can not be fully utilized if the blending ratio is below 10wt%.
